My Brother A Cancer Survivor

After finding out he had cancer he

decided to do something crazy.

The beginning of treatment

was hard for Shaun…

The effects of

chemo started to set in…

Even through all the cancer treatments he always found time to

have a little fun.

Shaun’s surgeon prepares him for his

surgery.

Surgery was a success, all of the

cancer was removed..

8 inches of Shaun’s femur was removed and replaced with a

titanium rod. His knee was also

removed replacing it with an artificial

knee.

Soon after surgery Shaun

started therapy.

After a year of therapy and treatment Shaun has

recovered completely, gaining all of his weight

back and a full head of hair.

Through everything Shaun kept a positive attitude, I admire Shaun for everything he’s been through over the past year. Shaun isn't just my

brother he is my best friend.
