A new version of the 2009 of the glorious Alalunga

78 Fly with all-new interiors courtesy of young

designer Alessandro Vescia.

The interiors are lacquered in ivory with a

pearlescent gleam giving them a cool, bright feel.

There are also blonde oak details and attractive

lighting effects created by cleverly positioned spots

in the floors and ceilings. The cockpit leads into the

saloon where the conversation area is separate

from the dining area. Sumptuous and elegant

interiors for the maximum comfort for on board. The

wide saloon offers a large sofa for relaxing

moments, a structural glass for the construction of

the stairway to the fly superimposed on the descent

to the cabin below deck gives brightness to the all

area, exalting the refined furnishing and the details'

care. Next up is a large “L” shape galley and an

oak bridge. Down on the lower deck, the night

area offers four en suite cabins all with bathroom.

The full-beam double master cabin in the central, a

VIP cabin with double bed at bow and the 2 twin

guest cabins in the center.

The fly, with second helm station and tender area,

offers chaise-longue, a dinette and galley with

barbecue unit. Equipped with a pair of 1800 hp

Caterpillars, the new Alalunga 78 delivers a top

speed of 36 knots. This confirms the good

characteristics of marine hull that has always

characterized the Alalunga yachts.

Captain Salvatore Carrano, Italian, 56 y.o.

Salvatore is a fine Captain with impressive experience on private and charter yachts. Qualified at the

Nautical Institute, with the rank of Captain. He holds all the qualifications for Charter and is registered

in Castellammare di Stabia in the I class with the qualification of Captain. For 15 years he’s been

dedicating his work to charter yachts including: Canados 70S, Pershing 88, Ferretti 90 and also sailing

Turkish Gulet. Excellent character, very positive and friendly with natural “can do” attitudes. He speaks

Italian, French, and basic English and Spanish.

Chef /Deckhand Salvatore Aiello, Italian, 32 y.o.

Thanks to Salvatore, Riviera is a 5 stars floating restaurant. He is a terrific chef having started his

career, since very young, as a chef’s assistant in his family’s restaurant in Sorrento. His culinary skills are

next to none and with the quality of his refined Mediterranean cuisine he has always conquered the

most demanding guests. Salvatore has that typical Italian enthusiasm that charms everyone, no

matter where the yacht is cruising, Salvatore has the know-how and ability to source the finest

ingredients in order to prepare his culinary creations, which are specifically tailored to the clients’

wishes. His cooking style is fresh and lively, capturing the natural and local flavors found in the freshest

ingredients that are available. He has built a fine repertoire of varied menus to suit guests

requirements, each day he would develop new menu ideas, in order to create new bold and

exciting combinations. He has over ten years yachting experience as a deckhand and has attended

many specific courses for yacht charter. He is in charge of all water sport activities and will make

sure that guests safely enjoy their stay on board. Salvatore speaks basic English.

Stewardess Federica Sorrentino, Italian, 27 y.o.

Federica was born and raised in Pompeii, known all over the world for the wonderful archeological

site of ancient Pompeii. After achieving her degree in Sociology, Federica chose to travel, enjoying

new cultures and places along the way and acquiring a strong background in hospitality. She worked

as entertainer on Cruise ships, and as receptionist and bartender in UK. Now she has found a perfect

field to combine her enthusiasm for travel, and working in hospitality, onboard RIVIERA. Federica is

very outgoing, with a bubbly personality and as with all the RIVIERA crew, she is looking forward to a

busy season ahead and will provide all guests with the highest level of service and attention. Federica

speaks fluent English and Spanish and basic French and German.
