From The Beginning

Growing up my father was a police officer and he drew portraits that inspired me to art. I began to drawfrom an early age. I grew up in a small valley named Am-argosa Valley. We moved to Las Vegas in 1988,when my dad passed away. I started school here in Las Vegas, and began working at the age of 13(underthe table) as a donut fryer. I started my 8th grade here at Fremont Junior high. After Junior high, I attended Las Vegas High school and graduated from high school in 1993. After Graduation I attended College of Southern Nevada and started taking classes related to the Fire Department. My intentions were to become a firefighter.I took EMS classes and fire Science classes. I tried and tried to get a job as a fire-fighter, but the competition was hard at the time so I never was able to get on. Then I ended up working in construction as a Labor Union Worker. I worked there for a few years,doing all different type of jobs. From a Concrete Mud Cutter to demolition and then on the railroads. Then I started to work for Clark County

School District with Special Education students. Which lead me to become a Truant Officer, and then I went into the Police Academy for School Police. I Worked there for a few years and started looking into getting into Fugitive Recovery, then I was hired as a Bail Agent for the State of Nevada. There I then became a Bounty Hunter. I did this for several years. Then in June of 2010, I had a hemorrhagic stroke . I was placed on life support and induced into a comma for three weeks. I spent three months in the hospital. I came out in a wheelchair and was told I would never walk again. I went through extensive Rehabilitation. After about a year and a half I began to walk with the use of a cane. My world changed completely. Once again I had to change my career. I didn’t know what I was going to do. Then one night my wife and I saw a television commercial on graphic design. She brought it to my attention. Since she knew I had drawn all of my life, she and I thought I should look into it. I made my decision to start college once again. I started school in 2012. My Major

at the moment is Computer Graphic Design.My goals are to graduate and obtain my Associates in Computer Graphic Design.Then I want to obtain a position as a Graphic Designer and continue my education at a university to receive my Bachelors .
