What is the purpose of this year’s WRJSM?• Establish a western agenda that builds strength and
unity on five broad issues important to western states• Improve the ability of the land grant university system
to address these issues• Advocate with one voice for funds to enhance land
grant universities’ (LGU’s) capacity to fulfill their roles in research, education, and extension related to western priorities, and to better inform public policy.
