Terminology
iMIS or NACStat The website https://www.nacusastat.org has often been referred to as iMIS. You might notice that this document refers to it as NACStat instead. Why is that? The system behind all this membership information is called iMIS, yet this website is a customized subset of what iMIS can actually do. The key here is that it’s a “statistics” website and only a SUBSET of what iMIS can really do. That’s why a number of functions of administering membership has to be done in the Chicago Administrative office using the backend iMIS system.
Browser Sometimes we’ll ask you what browser and version you are using. What is a browser? A browser is the computer application that you use to look at Internet websites. Depending on what type of device you’re using (e.g. desktop computer, laptop computer, smart phone, tablet, etc.) your browser could be any of the applications listed here:
• Internet Explorer • Mozilla Firefox • Google Chrome • Apple Safari • Opera
We sometimes will ask you what version you are using. This is because as things changes and new versions come out, issues inevitably come about. Here are examples of how you find what version you’re using.
Internet Explorer From the menu system click Help à About Internet Explorer and you’ll get the following:
Mozilla Firefox From the menu system click Help à About Firefox and you’ll get the following:
Google Chrome From the menu in the upper right corner, click About Google Chrome and you’ll get the following:

5. Enter all fields as appropriate, then click “Generate Report”
6. Verify all information is correct, then click “Submit Voucher Details”
7. Upon successful completion you’ll receive a confirmation screen like below.

Issues
Internet Explorer – newer versions We’re finding that people using Internet Explorer are experiencing problems with some of the reports. The NACStat website has some incompatibility issues with this newer web browser.
Solution Go to Tools à Compatibility View settings then add the following websites to an exception list:
• nacusastat.org • asicanada.org
Pop Up Blocker There are a handful of reports that pop-‐‑up into a new window. Depending on your browser, pop-‐‑up blockers may cause issues.
Solution Go to ”Gear Wheel” à Internet Options then add the following websites to an exception list:
• nacusastat.org • asicanada.org
Windows 10 Upgrading to Windows 10 does not interfere with using the NACStat website as it’s more dependent on a web browser than an operating system. If you have Windows 10, do NOT use the “Microsoft Edge” browser.
