Workshop on hand made products, girls NCC wing of the college organised one-day
workshop on making useful materials from waste in the “Anath-Ashram”-Dagaon on
14.092013.
Anti-drugs drive program: 20 nos. of girls NCC cadets under the leadership of
captain Jury Bhuyan went to “CHILDREN OBSERVATION HOME”, Lichubari, Jorhat to
aware the children of the OBSERVATION HOME about bad effects of drugs and
alcohols on 12th may 2014.

JB college girls NCC wing under the leadership of captain Jury Bhuyan conducted
Blood Donation lecture and Rally Programme which was organised by 64 Assam girls
BN NCC Jorhat group where 100 girls’ cadets of various college and schools of
adjacent Jorhat town attended the Programme on 12-11-2013.
OBSERVATION OF NCC DAY: Girls NCC cadets under the leadership of captain Jury
Bhuyan were taken out to “Mother Teresa Orphanage Home” to help the “Ayas”
Swachh Bharat Campaign programme: As a part of “Swach Bharat Abhiyan”
of the government of India, Girls NCC wing of JB college under the leadership of
Capt. Jury Bhyuan organised one Swachh Bahart Campaign program on 10-02-2014
where a lecture programme was also organised. Resource person Dr. Minakhi
Hazarika Phukan from Geography department delivered a lecture on the topic
“Personal hygin and responsibility of the society” . ANO capt. Jury Bhuyan also
delivered a lecture on the topic.
BASIC FIRST AID: From 21st January 2016 to 31st January 2016 girls NCC wings under
the leadership of ANO capt. Jury Bhuyan organised a workshop on “BASIC FIRST AID
“Ex. Cadet Poppy Gogoi and Shivani Saikia took part as resource person who were
trained up from a training program on Hospital Attachment Camp in 5 AIR FORCE
Hospital, Rowroiah. The workshop covered item likes CPR, Sick room preparation,
first aid given to the snake bite, dog bite, burn wound, fractures, various fevers, water
born diseases etc. The college health club also help in the workshop by supplying
equipment like pressure machine, stethoscope, bandage etc.
JB college girls NCC wings organised a personal cleanliness a awareness program at
Kokilamukh which is a tribal village in the bank of the river Brahmaputra on 10-02-
2016.
On 6th April 2017 girls NCC cadets with a ANO Capt. Jury Bhuyan went to Da-Gaon
Anath Asram and organised one awareness and motivational programme on the
topic –Importance of Discipline, physical fitness, cleanliness and proper food habit
leads to good health and all round development of a person.
As per N.C.C group Headquaters order seven days programme was oraganised on
“Swachhta He Sewa Hain” from 15th September 2017 to 21 st September 2017.
Programme was organised on cleaning of public statue, public places including govt.
schools, colleges etc. and inaugural lecture programme on the topic ANO capt. Jury
Bhuyan.
Tree plantation programme on the occasion 5th June 2015 world environment day.
Girls NCC wing of JB college organised various activities like Campus cleaning, Tree
plantation etc.
MANASA Tree plantation programme on 16 September 2015 at Dholajan organised
by Forest Department of Assam 20 girls cadets took part this programme.
7 days’ workshop on “YOGA” organised by NCC and collaboration with Patanjali
Yog Pith, Jorhat. 60 nos. Girls cadets attended the workshop.
Teacher’s Involvement
Attended all India Thal Sainik Camp in New Delhi from 17th September 2014 to 26th
September 2014 as contingent commander of North Eastern region girls NCC.
Attended as contingent commander of Jorhat group in regional level Kabbadi
Selection camp held in Meghalaya from 14th
June to 22nd
June 2016.
Attended all India integration camp NCC as contingent commander and appointed as
security officer of NER team. The camp was conducted by Rajasthan directorate NCC
from 17th Dec. 2014 to 28th Dec. 2014 in Udaypur, Rajasthan.
Conducted a session on the topic “Impact of Corruption, Black Money and Price Rise
on Indian Economy” in the national level advanced leadership camp on 20th Nov.
2015 held at NCC academy.
Garmur, attended all India tracking camp as contingent commander of NER
conducted by group headquarters Darjeeling and Sikkim from 17th No. 2016 to 24th
No. 2016.
Awarded as, Excellence in contribution for command and control, in all India
Darjeeling track conducted by NCC organisation Darjeeling and Sikkim from 17th No.
2016 to 24th No. 2016.
