About The University:
Sister Nivedita University (SNU) at Newtown, Kolkata, the youngest University in West Bengal and an integral part of Techno India Group, the largest education group in eastern India. The University has been established through the enactment of the Sister Nivedita University Act, 2017 (West Bengal XLIX of 2017).Being one-of-a-kind, the University offers educational programs and research in a wide array of subjects under disciplines like Management, Engineering and Technology, Science, Law, Languageand Literature, Pharmacy, Hospitality, Media, Sports etc. Inspired by the teachings of Swami Vivekananda and ideals of Sister Nivedita, SNU is committed to empowering women and the disadvantaged with plans to emphasize entrepreneurship as a tool of economic development.
