Right to Fair Compensation and Transparency in Land Acquisition,

Resettlement and Rehabilitation Act 2013

Fair compensation Availability of updated RoRs, sale

deeds, registration process etc. in electronic form and records in public domain, will ensure greater transparency and facilitate calculation of fair compensation based on latest market rates.

Reduced disputes over land titlesConclusive land titling will ensure

greater accuracy and will help in identifying/determining ownership and payment of compensation to the entitled beneficiaries. This will make the land acquisition process easy for the Requiring Body as well as the acquisition authorities.
