V-DIRECTORATE PROGRAMS
We are the National Program Managers for the Coast Guard’s Vessel Safety Check Program and the Recreational Boating Safety Visitation
Program.
Our staff works almost daily with Coast Guard Headquarters and the U.S. Coast Guard Office of Boating Safety. Together, we make sure that the programs are running smoothly and that our Vessel Examiners and Program Visitors are providing the boating public with the most up to
date information.
The Director-V is also responsible for monitoring the VSC and PV programs of the U.S. Power Squadrons.
