Login and Logout1. In the Firefox web browser, navigate to https://sait.acalogadmin.com/.

2. Login using your Acalog credentials.

3. To logout, click the Logout link in the top right corner.

Edit Your User Account1. Navigate to the User Accounts module.

2. Modify your account fields (Account ID, Name, Email Address, and Password) as necessary.

3. Click Save.

Note: To change your password, click the Reset password link and fill out the required fields in the dialog box.

If you forget your password, send an email to ETS at [email protected].

Select a Catalog1. Click the drop down arrow in the Start by Selecting a Catalog field.

2. Select the desired catalog (either the Historical Archive or the Master Current Catalog).

3. Click Go.

Use the Gateway1. Navigate to the Catalog Preview module.

2. Click the Preview link to the right of the desired catalog.

Navigate to another Catalog1. Close the current catalog preview window.

2. Click the Preview link to the right of the other catalog.

Search in a CatalogResults will display in groups of five on each page. To navigate to another page, click a page number under that specific results category. You can skip ten pages at a time if there are more than ten pages of results.

1. Enter a keyword or phrase into the Search Catalog field.

2. If applicable, select a different search location in the Entire Catalog drop down field.

3. Click the search icon.

Note: The closest match(es) will be displayed at the top of the results. When searching for a specific course, the program results will display programs that have that course referenced in its outline. It will also search through the requisite information of each individual course in a program outline.

The search function only displays active programs and courses.

Search Options1. Click Advanced Search.

2. Uncheck unnecessary Search Locations to limit your search.

3. Enter a keyword or phrase into the field.

4. Click Search.

Note: The Show prefix list link will show you every prefix that is used in that catalog.

There are preset filters for course and program listings by school under the Catalog Search navigation bar on the right.

To search for a specific phrase or keyword ensure Find whole word or phrase only is selected, otherwise the search engine will search for each word separately.

To view a school’s hierarchy (see description in the following section), select Schools/Departments under the Search Locations and type the school’s name in the keyword or phrase field.

Hierarchy ModuleThe Hierarchy module is a very useful tool for each school. It allows you to view a complete listing of a school’s programs (active and inactive) and courses (active only). Programs are listed by credential and courses are listed alphabetically. Clicking on a program name will bring you to the Gateway’s program outline, and clicking on a course name drops down the course outline bubble. Both methods allow you to print that individual outline by clicking the print icon. Each page of course results shows the program listing at the top; therefore, you do not need to go back to the first page to view/print a program outline.

2. Select the desired catalog in the drop down field.

3. Click Go.

4. Click on the Hierarchy tab.

5. Click Preview beside the appropriate school.

6. Click a program name to open that individual program outline.

7. To return to the listing, right click the program outline and click the Go back one page arrow.

8. Click a course name to open the course outline bubble.

9. To hide a course outline bubble, click the course name again.

Programs & Cores Module

ProgramsEach program has unique information. They are made up of cores, sub-cores and/or shared cores.

Concentrations have unique and shared information, which is why they are split up as separate programs with their shared core attached.

Search Programs1. Make sure to select the correct catalog and then navigate to the Programs tab in the

Programs & Cores module.

2. Filter you search by: Entering a program code in the search field (e.g., AIM) Entering a keyword in the search field (e.g., Petroleum) Selecting/unselecting the Show only active programs indicator

3. Select the By Rank indicator if you want the most relevant results to show up first; otherwise, the results will be shown alphabetically.

4. Click Search.

5. If you want to list programs alphabetically by letter, select the appropriate letter links under List programs alphabetically by program name. To search all programs that begin with a number, select the hash (#) symbol.

Note: The program code field has been repurposed; therefore, leave the Search by program code indicator unchecked.

Preview a Program1. Under the Programs tab in the Programs & Cores module, click the Preview link

beside a desired program name.

Note: The preview is how it is displayed on the internal gateway and not what the public can see.

Program Version AuditingVersion Auditing allows you to review and compare changes to the curriculum data over time. You may select any two time periods for comparison and the system will display them side by side or in a merged version with markup.

This option is only available for the Historical Archive catalog.

1. Under the Programs tab in the Programs & Cores module, navigate to a program you would like to audit.

2. Click the Version Auditing tab to view all audit events.

3. Click the plus icon under the Audit Events column or the Expand All link on the top right of the audit events table. This will allow you to see the snapshot details and effective academic year that the change(s) impacted.

4. Click Review Snapshot link on the desired effective academic year to view that snapshot.

5. If you want to compare the snapshot to another effective academic year, make your selection under the Compare to: drop down field.

6. Click Load Comparison.

7. The default view will be side by side, but to combine the two and to show markup click Combine and Show Changes.

Access Attachments1. Under the Program & Cores module, click a program name.

2. Click the Attachments tab.

3. Click a filename/document link.

4. The dialog box will ask you what program you want to open the document in or if you would like to save it onto your computer. Once you have chosen an option, click OK.

Shared CoresA shared core contains common information and/or courses shared between concentrations. A shared core is not required if a program does not have any majors or concentrations.

Shared cores are only available for the Master Current catalog.

Search Shared Cores1. Make sure to select the correct catalog and then navigate to the Programs & Cores

module.

2. In the search field enter a program name (e.g., Administrative Information Management), program code (e.g., AIM), or a keyword (e.g., Petroleum).

Note: To search by program code and/or to show only active programs, select the indicator(s) below the search field.

Preview a Shared Core1. Under the Shared Cores tab in the Programs & Cores module, click the Preview link

beside a desired shared core name.

Note: The preview is how it is displayed on the internal gateway and not what the public can see.

Courses Module

Search Courses1. Make sure to select the correct catalog and then navigate to the Courses module.

2. Filter your search by: Selecting a course prefix under the Prefix drop down field and/or entering a

course code under the Code or Number (e.g., 203) Entering a keyword in the Keyword or Phrase field (e.g., Accounting) Selecting/unselecting the Show only active courses indicator Selecting/unselecting the Find whole word or phrase only indicator
