Company Profile

We are a successful joinery manufacturer, specialising in high quality individual bespoke joinery contracts. The ‘NBJ’ brand has become well known in the industry.

Our premises at Airfield Park, just outside Husbands Bosworth, Leicestershire, offers 12,000 square feet of capacity, producing custom built joinery, cabinetry, bespoke individually designed kitchens, timber windows, timber staircases, fine timber mouldings and traditional joinery. We also have a dedicated spray shop for pre-finishing of manufactured items and a hi-tech woodworking machinery shop, including CNC machinery.

We have fire certification to BS478:Part22:1987, for bespoke individual fire doors and fire screens, up to 60 minute rating. We also manufacture bespoke timber security doors with steel panels, ideal for panic/refuge rooms.

NBJ has an in-house design team comprising of highly skilled and experienced AutoCAD technicians ensuring design concepts are brought to realisation.

NBJ manufacture and install exclusive cabinetry built from high quality woods and assembled by traditional craftsmen. 

Our in-house CAD team can produce creatively designed custom cabinets from conception right through to installation, each individually tailored to compliment homes and lifestyles. 

Custom designs and samples can be created for each project based on client selections of wood, cabinetry style and finish. 

Our intention is to work in partnership with our clients, who can be involved in the design process and can view their project in our cabinet shop prior to installation.

Windows & Doors

NBJ are producers of high quality traditionally made windows in a range of hardwoods and softwoods.  We are able to produce windows to match existing designs or drawings with the emphasis always on attention to detail and quality.  

We offer a full design service allowing us to present to you the various options that are available.  

Our skilled joiners can also produce traditional style window shutters from new designs or replacement of existing joinery.

NBJ Ltd has extensive test evidence for certified fire rated doors both to FD30 and FD60. We also have an extensive range of evidence for timber glazed fire screens once again both to 30 and 60 minute ratings.

In addition, we can manufacture Bespoke Timber Security Door-sets, to match existing panelling and decoration, with hidden steel panels and multi locking security systems. These are ideal for panic/refuge rooms along with external security systems.

NBJ has been commissioned to make many bespoke staircases, manufactured in a full range of timbers from hardwoods and softwoods.  We also carry out substantial restoration works on staircases in private residences.

We can produce many types of custom made stairs to individual specifications, including winding and curved staircases.
