Progress Monitoring System for National Bamboo Mission (User Manual) Open http://nbm.nic.in in the Internet Explorer. Click Progress Monitoring link. You will get a screen as follows. Enter the random number as displayed on the screen before User ID. Browser may be refreshed to get the new random number if it is not visible clearly. Enter user name and password as provide by NIC coordinator as given in the next screen. NBM account is for HQ user and state account is for state user. Progress Monitoring System for

National Bamboo Mission (User Manual)

• Open http://nbm.nic.in in the Internet Explorer. • Click Progress Monitoring link. You will get a screen as follows.

• Upon successful login (NBM) you will get a screen as follows.

States are not allowed to access Physical & Financial Target, Fund Release

and Project Based Monitoring module. States can only access Physical &

Financial Achievement and Monitoring Reports module.

1. Physical Target & Financial Outlay for HQ

Physical targets and financial outlays are set state wise, year wise and component

wise once in a year by HQ. To perform data entry for physical targets and financial

outlays, select this module from home page of this system. You will get a screen as

follows.

Select desired state name and financial year and click Get Data button. You will get a

screen as follows.

Now user can feed physical target and financial outlay against respective

component. Once the user has entered the entire required figures, he/she can save the

work by clicking the save button. You will be intimated by a message that data have

been saved successfully as follows.

2. Physical & Financial Achievement for State Physical and financial achievements are set state wise, year wise, quarter wise and

component wise by states. To perform data entry for physical and financial

achievements, select this module from home page of this system. You will get a

screen as follows.

Select desired state name (only for HQ user), financial year, and quarter and click Get

Data button. You will get a screen as follows.

Now user can feed physical and financial achievements against respective

component. Once the user has entered the entire required figures, he/she can save the

work by clicking the save button. You will be intimated by a message that data have

been saved successfully as follows.

3. Fund Release for HQ This module is for HQ use only. Funds are releases to states in phases every year.

To perform data entry for fund releases, select this module from home page of this

system. You will get a screen as follows.

Select desired financial year and click Get Data button. You will get a screen as

follows.

Now user can feed financial outlay, financial release and date of release in the

phase, expenditure against every state. Once the user has entered the entire required

figures, he/she can save the work by clicking the save button. You will be intimated

by a message that data have been saved successfully as follows.

4. Monitoring Reports

Reports are used to monitor the progress of the scheme. Reports have been

developed as per need of Horticulture Division at HQ and keeping view of states

requirement. More reports may be added as per requirements in the future. All data

entered can be validated at user end through printing reports. These reports are more

users friendly and give clear instructions to generate any type of information.

To generate various kinds of reports, select this module from home page of this

system. You will get a screen as follows.

This page can be used to generate four types of reports. Clicking the first

report will display a screen as follows.

Select desired state, financial year, quarter and click Generate Report button. The

report will be generated and displayed as follows.

This report can also be printed by exporting to Excel or PDF format by selecting

desired format and clicking export link. Same procedure can be followed to generate

other reports.

5. Status Report This report is used to provide data reporting status as per data furnished by various

states. To generate this report, select this module from home page of this system. You

will get a screen as follows.

Select desired financial Year, Quarter From and Quarter To options and Click

Generate Report button. The report will be generated and displayed as follows.

This report can also be printed by exporting to Excel by selecting ‘Export to Excel’

option.

6. Query Reports: This report is used to provide data for one or more states, one or more components, and various combinations of physical and financial target

achievement for a selected Year. Data can also be exported to MS Excel format.

7. Sending Reminders for HQ

Reminders can also be sent to non reporting states using ‘Status Report’ option

from the Home page. To send reminder, user is supposed to select only one quarter

and analyse the report after generating. If the user has selected one quarter for a given

year and generated the report, then ‘Send Reminder’ button will be displayed as in the

following screen.

Now click the ‘Send Reminder’ button. A screen will be displayed as follows.

Now click ‘All State’ option to send reminder to all non reporting states for the

selected quarter in the selected year. Email addresses of all non reporting states will

be filled in the ‘To Box’. If the user does not want to send the reminder to all state

then user can select one or more states, one by one from the state options. Email

addresses of all selected non reporting states will be filled in the ‘To Box’. User can

also change the message and other parts. Finally, click the ‘Send’ button to send the

reminder. The reminder will be sent by Email.

8. Changing Password Click the Change Password button to change the password. A screen will be

displayed as follows.

Fill in the box of Old Password, New Password and Confirm Password then

click submit button. New password and Confirm password should be same. If

you made correct entry and clicked submit button then your password will be

changed as entered in the following screen.

A screen will be displayed as follows upon successfull changing of password. Do

not forget to logout before closing the application.

9. Project Based Monitoring for HQ This module is for HQ use only. This module has two options namely new project

and existing project. New project option may be selected to enter data first time for a

project and existing option may be selected to update the data of a project if its data

has already been entered. Clicking ‘New Project’ option you will get a screen as

follows.

Now user can select project category, state, district, date of receipt, approval,

released. User can feed project name, address, agency amount proposed, approved,

released and remarks. Once the user has entered the entire required figures, he/she

can save the work by clicking the save button. You will be intimated by a message

that data have been saved successfully as follows.

Clicking ‘Existing Project’ option and selecting state you will get a screen as follows.

Go through the table and examine all projects and click the Edit button of desired

project. You will get a screen as follows.

Now user can update the project by selecting project category, state, district,

date of receipt, approval, released. User can also update project name, address,

agency, amount proposed, approved, released and remarks. Once the user has

updated the project, he/she can save the work by clicking the save button. You will

be intimated by a message that data have been saved successfully as follows.
