NCMA Scholarship

Winners The NCMA Scholarship Fund was established in 1985 with Tom Whitley as the first Scholarship

Committee chairman. Mr. Whitley and Darrell Horne were instrumental in getting the board to develop

a scholarship program to benefit children of movers. The program has been expanded to include

employees of movers, spouses of movers, children and grandchildren of movers. The NCMA now

awards two scholarships. One award is now for $1,000/year for those attending a four-year college and

can be renewed up to three times. The other award is for $500/year for those attending a two-year

school and can be renewed once.
