Keynote Speaker of her residency, working in College and University Mental Health. Her career began at Wellesley College, a smaller liberal arts college for women, and after twelve years there she moved into a full- time position at Boston University before coming to Harvard in early 2012. Barbara was initially a full-time psychiatrist at Harvard, meeting with close to 500 students/year, until three years ago when she moved into a leadership position. Besides her work as a clinician, Barbara has a son who is a sophomore in college so she’s had recent experience going through the process of applying to college, not to mention the challenges of raising a teenager. Participants will also learn about the benefits attached to the SAT Suite of Assessments and the free resources available through the College Board to support them in their work including AP Potential™, Official SAT® Practice through Khan Academy®, and Roadmap to Careers.
