About the site: For the past 7 years NAYC / Action Centres UK has been working with Wide Horizons to seek a positive use for Lakes created as a result of sand and grav-el extraction at Whitemoor Haye and Sittles Farms near Alrewas in Staffordshire, oppo-site the National Memorial Arboretum. Planning Permission was granted in August 2007 for Whitemoor Lakes, a brand new 300-bed facility, with a similar purpose to our Pioneer Centre in Shropshire.
Whitemoor Lakes offers accommodation with an emphasis on supporting family life, learning and enjoying new activities together, and offering programmes that encompass development of body, mind and spirit. The Centre will include a team of young people from across the world, involved in hospitality and activities, helping to create an environment of integration between dif-ferent ethnic groups from various nations and cultures. Whitemoor Lakes leads the way in providing groups with the perfect environment for
residential events.

I'm Wynne, from sunny Malaysia! I love
spending time with people I love and taking
pictures of food, scenery, friends, family,
myself (hehe), my doggie... Anything, really!
I'm excited to see God work in our lives
greatly this NEEC. I'm looking forward to
meeting you (yes, you reading this!) and
knowing your story!

Hi, my name is Leon, I'm 24
and I'm from the Wirral. I'm a
BBC and I'm told I look like
I'm from the Middle east.This
is false! With the formalities
out of the way I want to share
a little bit with you. I have
been a group leader at count-
less NEEC's and everytime
God surprises me. I am so
excited for 'Image' and being able to be a part of it is a real blessing. I
hope that you will enjoy your time here and be able to learn some-
thing about yourself when you go away. I look forward to meeting
you all.
God Bless
Leon
