Appendix A includes color renditions of Figures 2-3 and 2-4considered in Chapter 2 on the eruption and developmentof the teeth. They can be used to demonstrate to patientsthe development of the dentitions from 5 months in uteroto adolescence and adulthood.

Also included are representative views of the facial/labial/buccal and occlusal/incisal aspects of all of the teeth consid-

ered in Chapters 6 through 12. Because of the proximity ofthese illustrations to the traits and characteristics of theteeth provided in Appendix B, page turns to earlier chapterscan be minimized. It is also possible to view these samillustrations on the CD-ROM while examining the traitsand characteristics in Appendix B.
