New bakery options sweeten valley as longtime gym closesdoors

Las Vegans with a sweet tooth are in for a treat as two new pastry places opened last week in LasVegas.

ATT opened a new concept store in Las Vegas that is one of 50 in the U.S. to feature all newtechnology.

And elsewhere in the valley, ClubSport Green Valley closed after a 13-year run in Henderson andGriddle Café became the new home of Northside Café in SLS.

ATT opened a new store at 710 E. Flamingo Road last week.

The store focuses on a new concept that blends technology breakthroughs and a welcoming retailenvironment.

A Connected Experience Zone allows customers to see how products can be used in their everydaylives, a Community Zone lets customers shop and play with products and accessories, and anExplore Zone offers a variety of devices and accessories.

ATT will be open from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. Saturday and 11a.m. to 6 p.m. Sunday.

ClubSport Green Valley

ClubSport Green Valley closed its doors Saturday evening after being a leading gym in theHenderson area for 13 years.

Located on 2100 Olympic Ave., Club Sport was a gym and sports club and had a children's facility.The gym had an indoor running track, indoor and outdoor tennis courts, swimming, group fitnessclasses and more.

ClubSport's Facebook page was filled with heartfelt goodbyes and thank you's from past membersand staff.

No reason for closing was given, but the club was under new management for several months beforeclosing and had a major loss in memberships after the opening of Lifetime Fitness.

Wonderland Bakery

Cakes, cookies and other sweet treats are now being sold at Wonderland Bakery, located inDowntown Summerlin.

Allyson Ames, founder of the bake shop, began baking as a child and has served treats to stars suchas Whoopi Goldberg and members of the White House.

Wonderland Bakery is influenced by WIlly Wonka, Candyland and Alice in Wonderland.

The shop also hosts decorating parties and offers custom cake decorations, chocolate fountains andmore.

Wonderland Bakery is open from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday through Saturday and 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.Sunday.

346 Patisserie

Henderson got a new bake shop Friday with the opening of 346 Patisserie.

The shop is the vision of skilled pastry chef Arthur Haynes, who named the bakery after the freezingpoint of liquid nitrogen.

The menu is a fusion of traditional techniques with molecular gastronomy and includes handcraftedfrozen treats such as cannolis, gelatos, sorbets and more. Special toppings include liquid nitrogenfrozen fruit powder, shattered chocolate mousse and caramel powder.

346 Patisserie also offers guests the opportunity to create custom gelato flavors for parties and gifts.

The shop is located on 90 S. Stephanie St., Suite 150, and is open from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. Thursdaythrough Tuesday.

Northside Cafe, Griddle Cafe

Northside Cafe opened Sunday in SLS Las Vegas and will serve breakfast, lunch, dinner and late-night menus inspired by Las Vegas' classic coffee shop.

The new cafe will take the place of the Griddle Cafe, which closed last year after founder and ownerJodi Hortze decided to operate the brand in-house.

Northside Cafe will be a 24-hour dining experience with homestyle comfort food. Breakfast will be

offered around the clock, along with foods such as street tacos, steak, pasta, fresh juices, cocktailsand more.

SLS is at 2535 Las Vegas Blvd. South.
