New Charlotte County Courthouse June 2018 Progress Update Design Update: Small appliances have been purchased and are ready for install. Construction Update: The project is drawing to a close by end June. The exterior sidewalk pavers have been completed as well as other exterior items. Blair Construction has continued to monitoring safety, cleanup, and site maintenance. Elevator inspections have been completed. The Building Inspector has issued a TCO for Courthouse. G&H has done punchlist on building and MEP. Security and AV are in progress. Holman Masonry has completed their work with some punchlist items to be addressed. CRB Electrical, Comfort Systems Plumbing, Comfort System HVAC have been working on punchlist items. Dunavant is working on grading and landscaper has been doing some seeding. Meadowlands, Karn Woodworking, Brunner and J.W. Squire Flooring have all been working on punchlist items. Esitech has been adjusting and programing security cameras and access controls. E. Caligari & Son has been painting and working on punchlist items. Templeton-Vest AV have been programing and testing system. Door hardware installer and security contractor have been working on hardware items. Caulking of exterior is in progress and nearing completion (GFRC, Brick, and Windows). Kinex completed their install and programming of phones. Supreme Court IT has been onsite preparing for their install and are ready for move. FF&E has been delivered and setup and are working on some issues with furniture. Most of the Owner Training has been completed but there are still some hours of training to use as needed. Remaining training will be completed in July. Schedule Update: Substantial completion is expected early July. Moving date is set for July 2 nd and 3 rd with Offices opening July 5 th and Court will be held starting week July 9 th . Budget and Procurement Update: The total project budget remains unchanged at $13,900,000. Progress pictures are shown on following pages.
