Henrietta has been known for its low tax base and so continues to attract new people and businesses.
It has become an urban center with farmland mostly existing in the southern part of town. What be-
gan as strictly an agricultural town, now is a blend of agricultural, commercial, and residential areas.
The Historic Site Committee for the town has established twelve preservation districts protecting
many of our old structures and culture.

The Strong National Museum of Play recently broke ground
on a 100,000 sq. foot expansion that will include a parking
garage, hotel and mixed retail space. The expansion will
also serve as the new home of the World Video Game Hall
of Fame. The expansion will be the centerpiece of the
Neighborhood of Play, an urban development that is a
vibrant, walkable, green place to live, work and play.

Revitalizing Downtown
Rochester, New York
→ The Inner Loop Transformation Project converted a
sunken section of expressway to the east of Downtown to
an at-grade "complete street," that will include bicycle
and walking paths.
→ Reconnecting Neighborhoods with Downtown: It will
remove a significant barrier to redevelopment in the East
End, one of Rochester’s most important downtown
districts, and reconnect thriving east side neighborhoods
with the downtown area.
→ Promoting Development: Completion of this project is
expected to open roughly six acres of land to mixed-use
redevelopment, which could leverage an additional
430,000 to 800,000 square feet of commercial and
residential space. Reclaiming this land will raise local tax
revenues, create jobs and generate private investment.
With for-rent and for-sale units
and an urban park, the
Charlotte Square project will
anchor the East End
Neighborhood.
Plans Include:
→ 72 upscale apartments
→ 10 for-sale condos
→ 50 Mixed income units
→ 80 on-site parking
→ New pocket park will
provide public gathering
and a pedestrian connector
to Main & Richmond St.

→ ROC the Riverway is a major new community
initiative in Rochester, NY, focused on a series
of transformative projects designed to
revitalize and leverage the value of the
Rochester’s riverfront along the Genesee River.
→ This project will give greater access to the
river way, as well as address ADA compliance
and include updated lighting, furniture and
landscaping. Work is expected to be completed
by Fall of 2019. The plan also envisions
significant upgrades to major riverfront
facilities, including the Blue Cross Arena at the
War Memorial; the Joseph A. Floreano
Rochester Riverside Convention Center; and
the Rundel Memorial Library building.

Kodak Arts & Entertainment District
“When people plan a night out, they often focus on places where
they can enjoy their whole night without having to drive from
place to place,” said Dolores Kruchten, president, corporate real
estate and Eastman Park division and vice president at Eastman
Kodak Co. “With our new marquee and new acts coming to Kodak
Center Theater, we want to provide that ‘night out’ option where
people can enjoy dinner or visit a unique shop before taking a
short walk to see amazing entertainment right across the street.”
Eastman
Business
Park
In 2016, Eastman Business Park (EBP) commissioned the
development of a Master Plan and supporting market
and traffic studies to plan for the long-term build-out of
the east end of the 1,200-acre campus. The overall goal
of the EBP master planning process was to identify
opportunities for supportive commercial, office and
mixed-use development that will make the broader
Campus a world-class investment destination that is
attractive, comfortable and convenient for employers,
their employees, customers and other visitors to EBP.
+/- 17.3 Acres for Development

Kodak is seeking to create a new mixed-use neighborhood to support
