The LumiCam Advantage Radiofrequency treatment has been around for a few years, but the Tripollar Apollo improves on earlier equipment in a few ways. One of the most potent is the addition of the LumiCam. Let me explain. For a patient to get optimal results, the skin must reach a specific temperature. Hand-held thermometers were used in the past to monitor skin temperature, but they were prone to inaccuracy and could result in delays and disruption. The TriPollar Apollo’s LumiCam is FDA-approved to provide real-time temperature feedback and thermal mapping. Both the operator and the patient can watch the temperature of the treatment area, in real time, to ensure the best possible results.
