impacted with a flat perpendicular barrier at any speed.

The microphone is a black gooseneck microphone and is installed in the upper, forward left corner of the driver. The
switch is located in the floor which allows a hands free operation.
The exterior speaker is located between the entrance door and the first curbside passenger window. It is protected
from the elements by a rectangular metallic baffle.
The six interior speakers are integrated into the light panel housing and distribute sound evenly inside the coach (two
in the front, two in the middle, and two in the back).
A single channel amplifier is located above the driver’s window. The proposed amplifier comes with a black
gooseneck microphone and a switch, which meets all ADA requirements.

Discs less than 37mm thick have to be replaced
The proposed disc brakes will greatly reduce the life-cycle costs over the anticipated 12 year service life of the buses
being proposed.

All reports, designs, drawings, plans, specifications, schedules, and other materials prepared, or in the process of being prepared for the services to be performed by CONTRACTOR (with the exception of those items set forth in Section 13V) are and shall be the property of the SRTA. The SRTA shall be entitled to copies and access to these materials during the progress of the work. Any such materials remaining in the hands of the CONTRACTOR or in the hands of any subcontractor upon completion or termination of the work shall be immediately delivered to the SRTA. If any materials are lost, damaged, or destroyed before final delivery to the SRTA, the CONTRACTOR shall replace them at its own expense and the CONTRACTOR assumes all risks of loss, damage, or destruction of or to such materials. The CONTRACTOR may retain a copy of all material produced under this Agreement for its use in its general business activities.

Proprietary Rights/Riahts in Data
The term "subject data" used in this clause means recorded information, whether or not copyrighted, that is delivered or specified to be delivered under the Contract resulting from this solicitation.
Included are the proprietary rights of:
Technical data including manuals or instruction materials, computer or microprocessor software;
Patented materials, equipment, devise or processes; and
License requirements
The SRTA shall protect proprietary information provided by the Contractor to the fullest extent of the law. The contractor shall grant a royalty-free, perpetual, non-exclusive license to allow the SRTA to utilize such information in order to maintain the vehicles. The SRTA reserves a royalty-free, non-exclusive and irrevocable license to reproduce, publish, or otherwise use, and to authorize others to use, the following subject data for its purposes:

suits, or claims and pay all charges of attorneys and all other incurred costs and expenses. If any judgment is rendered against the

discharge the same. This indemnification shall survive termination or expiration of this Agreement.

limitations, negligence in: (1) the preparation of the Contract documents, or (2) the giving of directions or instructions with respect to
the requirements of the Contract by written order. The obligations of the Contractor shall not extend to circumstances where the injury,
death or damages are caused, in whole or in part, by the negligence of any third-party operator, not including an assignee or
Subcontractor of the Contractor, subject to the right of contribution. In cast of joint or concurrent negligence of the parties giving rise
to a claim or loss against either one or both, each shall have full right of contribution from the other.

17. MANNER OF PAYMENT
SRTA shall pay the full price of each bus upon issuance of final acceptance of the bus and receipt of an approved invoice, as provided for in the RFP.
