High drinking water quality with RAUTITAN – lead-free from 2019As a universal system for drinking water and heating, RAUTITAN is the first choice for modern installations and consists of pipe, fitting and a compression sleeve that creates a permanently sealed joint. A unique innovation has been added to the system for 2019.

Lead-free drinking water installationsWater is undisputedly one of our most valuable foods. The preserva-tion of drinking water quality will therefore play an increasingly important role. With this in mind, we must meet future drinking water standards today. REHAU relies on the lead-free, high quality red brass RX+ fitting.

The newly developed red brass RAUTITAN RX+ fittings offer all the advantages of established red brass material as well as being lead-free. The material has been extensively tested in laboratory and field trials over several years. The alloy is in accordance to DIN SPEC 2701 and since 2018 has been part of the approved list for metal materials suitable for drinking water hygiene of the German Federal Environ-ment Agency.

REHAU plumbing stations – connections in the blink of an eye The idea behind REHAU plumbing stations: Large numbers of individual components are a thing of the past, replaced with a 100% pre-fabricated and pressure-tested single component for sanitary connections that are accurate to the millimetre – suitable for surface or flush-mounted, T-piece or loop-through installations.The benefit: significant time savings with reliability. For example, three sinks can be installed in the time it would normally take for one – thermal insulation, sound insulation and condensation protec-tion included.

New plumbing stations with foamed-in sleevesThe sleeves are integrated into the plumbing station in a water tight manner. Any water leaking in the connection area flows safely out of the wall. This prevents any unwanted moisture building up inside the wall. The pressure test plug can easily be removed without compro-mising the water seal. Retrospectively replacing tap extensions is also possible without problems.

Commissioning of the system is conveniently controlled via smartphone, tablet or PC. RAUPIANO PLUS, the pipe, fitting and accesso-ries, ensures universal use from a single-family home up to large multi-occupancy apartments. Compatible with conventional HT and sewer pipe systems, it offers just 17 dB (A)* premium sound insulation and reliable F90 fire protection.

One system, more possibilitiesThe RAUPIANO PLUS system now also includes DN 32 pipes. The compact range is primarily used for small lifting stations or condensate lines and its sanitary colour white makes it ideal for surface mounting in basements.

With a powerful 18 volts/4.0 Ah, Li-Ion battery, 230 Volt charger and a detachable expander bit, the RAUTOOL A5 supports the expansion of REHAU pipes up to 75 mm with the matching expander head. The pipe cutter 63 comes as standard with every tool system case. The expander heads 40 to 75 mm are – depending on pipe size and type – also compatible with the cordless expander RAUTOOL Xpand big for RAUTITAN, RAUPEX, INSULPEX, RAUVITHERM and RAUTHERMEX.

RAUTHERMEX: New foam formulation and optimised outer jacket corrugationThe RAUTHERMEX composite pipe system ensures optimal heat distribution in district heating networks. In order to further improve the PUR insulation values a new foam formulation has been introduced, which has a lambda value of only 0.0199 W/mK. In addition, the profile of the RAUTHERMEX outer jacket has been optimised. This allows the bending radii to be reduced by up to 30%. The effort required for laying the pipe is reduced significantly and up to 30% longer coils are possible.

RAUVITHERM compact house entryThe pre-insulated pipe system RAUVITHERM, which consists of a complete range of pipes and fittings includes UNO and DUO pipes as well as all relevant accessories. The new and more compact house entry for RAUVITHERM offers you the possibility of secure installations in smaller core holes. For all pipes with an outside diameter of 90 to 160 mm, only 200 mm are required for the core hole and for pipes with an outside diameter of 170 to 225 mm, only 300 mm is required. This results in cost savings of up to 50%.

Future-proofed heat supply

Smartfuse Duo 25-75The new pipe scraper can be used to prepare the weld area when using the FUSAPEX, FUSAPEX Geo and other electrofusion fittings. Its compact design makes it ideal to scrape RAUVITHERM DUO, INSULPEX DUO and RAUTHERMEX DUO pipes. You can run the Smartfuse Duo 25 – 75 by hand or using a cordless drill.
