With eleven distinct New HollandBR7000 Series models, there’s sure to bethe perfect one for you. BR7000 Seriesbalers produce bales weighing from300 to 2,200 pounds. Some models are specially designed to bale crops withhigh-moisture content for high-qualityround bale silage. Some models featureexclusive New Holland crop-cuttingsystems that yield higher-densitybales that are easier to feed and moredigestible. No matter which model youchoose, you can rely on your newBR7000 round baler to form uniform, dense bales in any crop.

Wide, effective pickupsNew Holland’s curved-tine pickups

feed crop from edge to edge of the balechamber and are positioned out frontwhere they’re easy to see. And, they’reextra wide — up to an industry-leading81.5 inches tine to tine.

Exclusive Roll-Belt™ designNew Holland’s proven combination

of rolls and belts starts a bale core inany crop and continues to form per-fectly shaped bales.

Dial in the densityThe sealed, adjustable hydraulic

bale density control system builds consistent, tight, perfectly shaped balesin different crops. Just turn the densitycontrol knob to change the pressure. You can set the density before youeven go to the field, reset it easily fordifferent crops and repeat the exact setting for the next cutting.

More durability• Stronger shot-peened tines replace

the previous music wire tines on allpickups (except the BR7050 andBR7060 Standard). These new tines arelonger lasting, more durable in toughconditions and curved for optimal croplifting.

• Two formed ribbed rolls replacetwo dimple rolls in the bale chamberfor improved bale formation. Theserolls improve core formation and haveimproved life and durability.

• One less spreader roll means netflow is more even and net spread issmoother and more uniform.

• Repositioned twine tube leafsprings are now heat-treated and keptin place by steel rivets for improvedholding.

Optional New Holland cutting systems increase weight gains in livestock.New Holland cutting systems

deliver bales that are easier to feed andeasier for livestock to digest. Choosefrom two New Holland systems.

The Bale-Slice™ system deliversbales that pull apart easily

The Bale-Slice™ system, optional on the BR7060 Silage Special and theBR7090 balers, uses a series of knives to cut the crop as the bales are being

formed, resulting in bales that feed easier and are more digestible for live-stock. In fact, a recent university studyproves bales made with the Bale-Slicesystem are up to 14% denser thanunsliced bales and can increase theAverage Daily Weight Gain in yearlingheifers by 23%.

Controlled by the Bale Command Plus™ monitoring system, the Bale-Slice system features a series of knives on the starter roll that pivot into the bale after the core isformed. The inexpensive knives are reversible for increased life and easy to remove when replacement is necessary.

Bale-Slice™ bales pull apart easily, makingthem easy to feed, easy to digest.

7

The CropCutter® system produces bales that aremore dense and heavy due to the smaller particlelength. In silage, this increased compaction meansless air in the bale for better fermentation and out-standing feed quality.

The CropCutter ® system puts morecrop in every bale

The CropCutter® rotary feeding andcutting system is unique to the BR7060and BR7070. This system uses up to 15knives to cut crop as it is fed into thebaler to create heavy bales with maxi-mum density. In silage, it results inenhanced fermentation. In straw, itresults in easier spreading and increasedabsorbency. No matter what the crop, bales made with CropCutter put morecrop in every bale — translating tofewer bales per field, fewer bales totransport and store. That’s productivity.

The CropCutter system can be equipped with up to 15 knives to produce a 2.6-inch cut crop length to pack more crop into every bale. Any combination of knives may beused to achieve the desired length of cut in various crops.

A spring-loaded protection system on each CropCutter knife prevents knife damage inrocky fields.

Top-quality silage bales

Endless belts eliminate the splice and the fastener maintenance required with laced belts. Even better, they’rebacked by an exclusive Bonded Protection Plan. If a belt fails due to defects in material or workmanship within the first three years or 15,000 bales, New Holland will replace it free.

Three rolls have scrapers to remove crop that canbuild up on the rolls.

A rubber back wrap roll eliminates crop build-up onthe back of the belts.

Two Roll-Belt™ baler models let you take control of your balingrequirements in both silage and dryhay. The BR7060 and BR7070 SilageSpecial and CropCutter® balers aredesigned to effectively bale crops at ahigh moisture content to create high-quality, round bale silage. And, theywork just as effectively in dry hay

conditions. These unique balers offerdistinctive features to aid in makingsilage bales:

• A dual-cam pickup increasesdurability in heavy crops.

• Rugged, endless belts offer superior life and performance.

• Scrapers and a rubber backwrap roll eliminate crop buildup.

Pick up and feed all of your crop

Three pickup designs ensure fast, positive feeding.

10

All three of New Holland’s pickupdesigns — Super Sweep™, Wide, andXtraSweep™ — are positioned out frontwhere you can easily monitor how thewindrows are feeding. These designs letyou pick up wider windrows, feed thecrop edge to edge, and better compressmaterial into the bale chamber to formfirm, square-shouldered round bales.

XtraSweep™ PickupsNew Holland XtraSweep pickups

are the widest in the industry, to handleheavy or windblown windrows withease. The 71” pickup, available on theBR7060 and BR7070, has 112 curvedtines that get all the crop off the fieldand into the baler. The 81.5” pickup, standard on the BR7060 and BR7070CropCutter® models, optional on theBR7090, has 128 tines and double camtracks for long-term durability.

XtraSweep pickups offer a numberof unique features:

• Two flotation gauge wheels followcontours in the field.

• Afull-width, dual-pivoting wind-guard controls crop as it enters the balechamber.

• Large-diameter pickup augersimprove crop feeding.

• “Double Stuffer” feeders providemore positive feeding of crop from thepickup reel to the floor roll. The feederfloor angle aids crop feeding and leadsto smooth bale starting.

• A center bearing support on the81.5” pickup aids stuffer support inheavy crops.

• Hydraulic pickup lift is standardon the 81.5” pickup and optional on the 71” model.

Super Sweep™ PickupThe six-bar Super Sweep pickup on

the BR7080 and BR7090 has more tinesthan most balers to pick up short, finecrop. Because there are six rows of curvedtines, pickup speed is slower than that ofthe competition, providing gentler crophandling. The pickup’s strong-yet-flexiblebackbone design prevents clogging incrops such as cornstalks. The four-barpickup on the BR7050 and BR7060crowds material along the sides of thebale chamber for tight, firm bale ends.

Wide PickupThis low-profile pickup available

on the BR7060 and BR7070 allows youto pick up extra-wide or windblownwindrows. Its floating windguardimproves crop control. Stronger cam follower bearings and a pickup liftcrank extend the pickup’s operationallife. An anti-wrap shield in the righthand reel bearing prevents damagefrom crops. Silage Special balers areequipped with dual cam pickups tohandle tough silage conditions.

Both XtraSweep™ pickups use the same full-width, dual-pivoting windguard for total crop control intothe bale chamber and two flotation gauge wheels to follow contours in the field.

Adjustable windguards help control flow of crop from the pickup into the bale chamber.

New Holland’s exclusive Roll-Belt™design uses heavy-duty rolls in front ofthe bale chamber and short, tough beltsin the back to deliver consistent coreformation and tight, uniform bales indry hay, cornstalks and silage.

Heavy-duty rolls up frontFloor Roll (E) — Feeds material

from the pickup into the bale chamberwith welded rods. The constant actionbetween the floor roll and the baleoffers superior feeding compared todesigns that feed directly from the pickup into the baler. The floor roll also carries most of the bale’s weight, reducing stress on the belts for longerbelt life and lower maintenance costs.

Starter Roll (F) — Helps turn thecrop and start a bale core in any crop, including rotary combine straw andsandy-soil crops like peanut hay. Thelarge opening between the floor roll and starter roll ensures positive feedingin any crop or windrow condition.

Fixed Roll (H) — Transmits powerto the remaining upper forming rollsand aids in bale rotation.

Pivot Roll (I) — Rotates above thefixed roll to help form the bale andincrease bale density.

Stripper Roll (J) — Rotates aroundthe pivot roll to maintain the bale cham-ber area during core formation. Thestripper roll has formed ribs to strip

material off the apron belts as it passesby and pack it into the bale. As balesize increases, the stripper roll rotatesforward to permit full bale diameter.

The Roll-Belt™advantage

Exclusive design delivers fast core starts and the industry’s highest bale density.

Mini Rough Top belts provide sure gripSix nylon/polyester Mini Rough Top forming belts (eight MRT belts on BR7080

and BR7090) with a friction surface grip the crop and carry it upward into the coreforming area. The belts are 100 inches shorter than the leading competitor, and theyflex over uneven bale surfaces, providing 91% contact across the bales to reducecrop losses. A chain-driven, rubber-surfaced roll powers the belts. The system hasan adjustable idler roll to regulate belt tracking. For continuous PTO operation, thebelt apron de-clutches (standard on BR7090 and optional on BR7070), stopping thebelts during bale ejection and reducing bale scuffing. Mini Rough Top belts grip crop effectively but are less

aggressive on valuable crop leaves. Another advantage:as the surface wears, it does NOT lose its grippingeffectiveness.

How the bale forms1. Floor Roll (E) features welded rods

that feed material from the Pickup (C)to the Belts (L) in the bale chamber. Thefloor roll also carries most of the bale’sweight, reducing stress on the belts forlonger belt life and lower maintenancecosts. The constant action between thefloor roll and the bale offers superiorfeeding compared to designs that feeddirectly from the pickup into the bale.

Starter Roll (F) helps turn the cropand start a bale core in any crop, including rotary combine straw andsandy-soil crops like peanut hay.

Fixed Roll (H) is ribbed to aid inbale rotation and transmits power to theremaining upper rolls — Pivot Roll (I),Stripper Roll (J) and Follower Roll (K)— for improved core formation. Theserolls assist in curling material and start-

ing the core. The Stripper Roll is alsoribbed to strip material off the apronbelts and pack it into the bale.

2. As the bale grows, the top rolls(J & K) pivot forward. Belt TensionArm (M) also rotates, allowing the balechamber to expand. Belt TensionCylinder (N) and Belt Tension Spring(O) deliver reduced belt tension at thestart to ensure positive core formation, even when baling short, dry material.

3. When the bale reaches full size, stop the tractor. The wrapping mecha-nism starts automatically.

4. When wrapping is complete, raisethe Tailgate (P) to eject the bale. Thespring-loaded Bale Ejector (Q) rolls thebale away so the tailgate can be closedwithout moving the baler. Then simplystart the next bale.

No matter which baler model youchoose, reliable New Holland tyingand wrapping systems give you peaceof mind and maximum control.

Simple, trouble-free tyingThe Auto-Wrap™ tying mechanism,

available on all models except theBR7050, provides fully automatic tyingwithout the need for special electronicsor hydraulic hoses.

The Auto-Wrap system ensures consistent twine placement, whichmeans your last bale will look every bitas good as your first. Twine tensionersmounted on the twine tube ends keepthe twine tight. You get reliable twinestarts in all crops and conditions.

Electronic precisionBale Command Plus™, an electroni-

cally controlled twine or net wrappingand monitoring system, makes it easyto make consistent, well-shaped bales.Available on all models except the

BR7050, the Bale Command Plus system helps you make great-lookingbales by directing you down thewindrow to fill both sides of the baleevenly. Regardless of forward speed or windrow size, you get dense, square-shouldered bales.

For tying, simply pre-program oneof three factory-set twine tie patterns (or create one of your own) and theBale Command Plus system does therest. The full bale alarm signals you tostop forward travel, and the twine tyingor net wrapping cycle automaticallybegins. There’s even a manual overridethat allows you to tie or wrap a balethat is less than full size. That’s mightyhandy when you finish a field and runout of crop. In the unlikely event there’sa problem with the Bale Command Plus

system, a remote override switch canbe activated to wrap bales in a manualmode.

Other Bale Command Plus functionsinclude bale size, near-full bale alarm, electronic bale count record, Bale-Sliceknife engagement and tailgate switch toindicate whether or not the tailgate isclosed and latched.

The front of Bale Command Plus balers is wide open for fast and easy maintenance.

The Auto-Wrap™ bale shape monitor mounts inside the tractor cab. It helps operators make dense, uniformbales by showing which side of the baler needs morecrop. A bale size indicator located on the right/front ofAuto-Wrap balers monitors bale diameter.

Auto-Wrap™ and Bale Command Plus™ systemsdeliver consistent bales every time.

With the Bale Command Plus™ system, all baler functions plus tying or wrapping are closely monitoredright from your tractor seat.

Wrap over the edge

The patented EdgeWrap™ net-wrap-ping option, available on all BR7000Series models except the BR7050, wrapsbales faster than twine and producesbales that hold their shape, resist weath-ering and are easy to handle and store. The EdgeWrap wrapper is wider thanthe bale chamber, and that provides“over-the-edge” net wrapping evenwhen using a standard-width net. Unitsequipped with the EdgeWrap optioncome with Bale Command Plus™ asstandard equipment. That puts you incomplete control of all wrapping functions right from the comfort of yourtractor seat.

Rolls of net for the EdgeWrap™ wrapping option loadeasily into the front of the baler.

The EdgeWrap™ option creates weather-resistant balesthat are easier to handle, move and store.

“Over-the-edge” net wrapping produces bales that hold their shape and are easier to handle, transport and feed.

1

The net wrap cycle begins when bale reaches fullbale size.
