•There is need and Scope for Increasing the Viable Productivity through Introduction of Modern and Scientific Methods and to achieve yet another Green Revolution.

•With this in View , eFresh is making efforts to establish the FDC to revolutionize the flow of Knowledge & Technology with effective Market Linkages to the Indian farmers for their development.


•eFresh will be a One Stop Point with various facilities and services delivered at their doorsteps to achieve increased productivity and farmer prosperity.

•eFresh, the information development portal in Agriculture, Food Processing and Food Safety has attained considerable recognition and appreciation from the various stalwarts having substantial knowledge and expertise in the field of Agriculture. Its popularity in the Google Search Engine is such that it became the leading web portal in the field of agriculture.


•It is of utmost importance to convert this vast e-Agriculture Knowledge and Technology, to a more practical and workable media, to strengthen the sector of Agriculture & its allied activities.


• FDC is conceived as an adjunct of eFresh to bring through all the relevant information encompassing the latest technologies, solutions , exhibition and demonstration of the implements, products and services by the manufacturers and traders as well as best practices to the door steps of stakeholders in the Agriculture, Food Processing and Food Safety.


FDC –Its Vision & Mission:

• The Vision of eFresh FDC is to provide a platform for the manufacturers and suppliers to interact with farmers and in the process, enable and empower the farmers to gain access to information on modern, cost effective and efficient agricultural practices.

• FDC which will be initially launched at 5 centers and eventually covering the entire country within a period of 3 years.


FDC’s Mission:

• Bring innovative crop production techniques / technologies, best quality Inputs, water management technologies, good agricultural practices to the door steps of the Farmers and other stakeholders in the Agriculture domain for increased productivity ,value addition and higher incomes.


• Create an effective and sustainable Market Linkage Platform.

• Enhance Production of Secure, Safe and Quality Food.

• Build Capacity and Competence through Field exposure and Training.

FDC-Comprehensive Facilities at the center:

FDC – Designed to Meet Farmers needs and Expectations:

. At Present 35 activities have been identified for the Information and Knowledge to be provided at FDC. First in the Market with Innovative Visual Media.


Farmers Support Centre:

. FDC will be supported by Farmers Support Centre with innovative software for provision of advisory services to the farmers through a Toll Free Number

Rythu Ratham:

. FDC is supported by Rythu Ratham taking training and education to the door step of the farmers in the villages.


FDC- Beneficiaries:

• Farmers : Direct linkages to the Suppliers/ Buyers and exposure to the latest Crop Production Technologies.

• Suppliers of Inputs / Farm Tools: Direct linkages with FDC enabling them to offer competitive prices.

• Food Processors / Importers / Exporters / Traders: Direct linkage with FDC Market Linkage Platform enabling them to procure quality raw materials at Reduced Costs .


• Manufacturers / Product Advertisers- organizing events with least expenditure at FDC using the database of the Farmers in the region.

• Agri Extension Service Providers : can use FDC to organize Training Programs for the Farmers and capacity building.
