For this reason, we created �e Harbor Memory Care Unit at New Albany Nursing and Rehab, a specialty care unit for patients with dementia and dementia related diseases. �e Harbor is designed to improve the quality of life for residents who have unique psychosocial needs beyond those of our traditional geriatric population. Our goal for the unit is to maintain as much independence as possible for each resident in a structured, comfortable, and secure environment. �e Harbor is dedicated to improving and maintaining the behavioral health and well being of the seniors in the communities we serve.
