  • President’s Message -- Jon Klimo Dear fellow USPA members,

This is my first message to you as the new president of the USPA (as of July 2015). I plan to periodically-- possibly even monthly or bimonthly -- share my thoughts with you in this way. We are now in the process of developing a new website for our organization together with a newsletter and blog, and we have already established a good Facebook presence. So, I hope by means of these and other ways of reaching out, the USPA can make itself increasingly visible and better known. I welcome any of you who would like to share with me and the USPA any ideas, questions, and suggestions you might have for our organization.

Besides me, the new USPA leadership includes fellow officers Scott Beutlich (former President), Treasurer; Glen Rein, Vice President, Scientific Research and Conference Speakers; Bob Peters, Vice President, Conference Exhibitor Relations; John Reed, Vice President, Archives, Records, and Fundraising; George Kuepper, Vice President, Radionics and Agriculture; and Daniel Taylor, Executive Secretary. The USPA's Board of Directors currently includes Tim Lippert, Chairperson, Lutie Larsen, Jon Klimo, Eric Rowley, and Ed Kelley, who were joined in July by new board members John Reed, Beverly Rubik, Linda Lancaster, and Daniel Taylor. Together, we, the officers and board, look forward to making the USPA ever stronger and more visible, both nationally and internationally, as a leader in the interrelated fields of forward-edge physics and paraphysics, subtle and higher dimensional energy access, and exploring new, more productive ways to engineer a true post-Cartesian interface between classical and quantum physical reality, on the one hand, and the realm of consciousness, mind, and intention, and spirit, on the other.

Our Conference Planning Committee has convened recently in a series of conference-call meetings to organize our next 2016, July 15th-17th, USPA conference which will be held again at the Wyndham Suites Glenview hotel just outside of Chicago. Once we have finalized our list of invited speakers and our conference program, we will be making that available to not only all of you who are currently members of the USPA, but also making this available to prospective attendees and potential new members to our organization. Our goal will be to make this next conference be the best attended one that we have had in many years. So, part of this effort will be a campaign to attract new members to the USPA, and this will involve increased marketing, publicity, advertising, and outreach. The working title for our 2016 conference will be "Exploring the Past and Future of Subtle Energy." Just one example of what we are planning so far is to have a focus on the history and uses of the "radionic camera", to be coordinated by board members and radionics practitioners Lutie Larson and Linda Lancaster.

As well as planning for an outstanding 2016 conference, here, in no particular order, are a number of other things I will be working with our officers and board to move toward realizing in the coming year:

    • Increasing our organization's membership, involving increased visibility and outreach.

    • Fundraising: Exploring ways to bring much-needed income into our organization'scoffers.

  • • In the area of research: Establishing a working research relationship with the Institute of Noetic Sciences (IONS). Toward this end, I have talked with IONS' research director, Dean Radin, about jointly conducting controlled experimental research into the accuracy of radionic and related psychotronic diagnostic and analysis techniques and the effectiveness of selected radionic and psychotronic treatment approaches and equipment use. I hope that the USPA's most visible and respected scientists, Glen Rein and Beverly Rubik, will spearhead this endeavor. In addition to planning research activities with IONS, I look forward to the USPA conducting its own original research projects carried out by its own members, focused on radionics and psychotronic approaches unique to the USPA, and including publishing the results of such work. In addition to IONS, I am planning, as a member, to work with the Parapsychological Association (PA), the leading international professional organization for the study of parapsychology, which, among other things, has focused since the early 20th century on "psychokinesis," or non-ordinary effects of mind and intention on matter, clearly related to our long radionics tradition of anomalous treatment at a distance, and telepathy, clairvoyance, and remote viewing studied by parapsychology, all non-local modes of remote information processing and analysis related to our own organization's long history of radionic and psychotronic distant diagnosis. Research regarding "mass consciousness events" have also been carried out by parapsychological researchers that I see related to our USPA interests and activities. Besides IONS, the PA, The Society for Scientific Exploration, I.S.E.E.M., and the U.S. Dowsers Associations, I will work with our organization's leadership to seek out, share, and coordinate with other organizations that also have similar interests and goals to the USPA, to explore ways to co-sponsor activities and events, share databases, mailing list, archives and other resources for mutual benefit.

    • Drawing from our own officers and board members, I hope to help organize a USPA

effort to spearhead radionic and psychotronic research, education, and publication/media sharing particularly in the area of agricultural applications, as well as veterinary/animal applications. I see this effort being led by our own USPA officers and board members, particularly Lutie Larsen, Linda Lancaster, George Kuepper, Ed Kelley, Tim Lippert, and Eric Rowley, among others.

    • Of course, I would love eventually to have the USPA, its officers, board members,

general membership, and invited conference presenters take a leadership position in the much more challenging area of radionics and psychotronic applications not just for agriculture and animals, but for human beings as well. Virtually everyone associated with the USPA and its history knows how problematic and dangerous trying to include humans as intended recipients of radionic and psychotronic treatment can be, witness the many decades of the adversarial activity of the AMA and the FDA, long sworn, near all-powerful enemies of so much of what the USPA represents. Nonetheless, I would like to work with the leadership of the USPA and his membership, along with coordinated efforts with other like-minded organizations, to try to bring about change in this regard, even as the general reigning scientific paradigm appears to be slowly shifting toward increased non-locality and related post-materialist characteristics, with deepening post-dualistic mind-body interactionism and the role of consciousness and intention in how the larger reality truly operates and can be worked with.

    • I am looking forward to the role that a new foundation I have recently created-- The

Larger Reality Foundation-- once it has procured its own funding, may play in providing at least partial financial support for the USPA to supplement our up-until-now very modest income that has stemmed from membership dues, proceeds from our annual

  • conference, and sales of audio and video recordings of conference presentations going back as far as some of this organization's earliest participants and members.

    • I also look forward to working with John Reed and other officers and members of our

board to continue exploring ways to make best use of the USPA's considerable archives of past published conference proceedings that now extend over decades, and especially that include a real wealth of hundreds of audio and video recorded presentations from past USPA conferences. Finding ways to sell and share this archival material as a funding source for our organization. I am certain that as we move into the future, this material will become ever more visible and valued by those outside the USPA as our Western science and technology continues to move into a new era increasingly characterized by quantum non-locality, subtle energies (including scalar), higher dimensionality (and I would personally add otherworldly, extraterrestrial, and larger reality, and spiritual domains), and the increasing awareness of the centrality that consciousness and intentionality play in our experience of the nature of reality and in our emerging ever more post-Cartesian, post-dualistic, science and technology (I have in the past personally used the phrase "The Emerging Spiritualization of Science" to characterize this gradual evolution.

Finally, Just a little bit for now about myself:

I retired a year ago after 40 years of teaching in doctoral programs at Rutgers University and then at various professional graduate schools of psychology, including chairing at least 200 dissertation committees. You can find a lot more about me and the work I have done on my webpage (www.jonklimo.com), which includes an extended curriculum vita representing 50 years of professional activity. For about five years, I served as president of the California Society for Psychical Studies (CSPS), which involved inviting more than 50 speakers to our monthly meetings led by me in Berkeley, California, putting out a monthly newsletter that contained its own version of what may continue here at the USPA as installments of a kind of President's Message. And, at the CSPS, we often sold audio and often video recordings from our presenters. More recently, I was one of the founding members of a fairly new organization called "F.R.E.E," The Foundation for Research into Extraterrestrial Encounters, recently renamed "The Edgar Mitchell Foundation for Research Into Extraterrestrial Encounters" thanks to Dr. Mitchell's desire to participate. Since shortly after its inception, I have been serving as F.R.E.E.'s Research Director. Since the late 1980s, I have been with the USPA, both as an officer and board member, presenting at most of its annual conferences, and working very closely with my dear friend, the late Peter Moscow, President of the USPA until his untimely death. I also made two trips to Oxford, England with Peter to do research with the George DelaWarr radionic camera and to make digital copies of thousands of the original glass plate emulsion radionic photographs made by DelaWarr and his associates. I would like to include a selection of these digitalized photographs in future USPA presentations involving the radionic cameras of Ruth Drown, Lavender Dower, and others that Lutie Larsen and Linda Lancaster will be preparing for upcoming USPA webinar presentations and for our 2016 conference.

I look forward to working with you and serving as your new USPA President as we move into the new year.

    Jon Klimo, Ph.D.

  • 37th Annual United States Psychotronics Association (USPA) Conference, 2015 -- Great Success

The United States Psychotronics Association (USPA) held its 37th annual conference at the beautiful Wyndham Glenview Suites hotel in Glenview, Illinois (a Chicago suburb) July 17-20, 2015, and was a huge success. Internationally recognized researchers such as Beverly Rubik, Ph.D., Glen Rein, Ph.D., Richard Alan Miller, Ph.D., Norman Shealy, M.D., and numerous other luminaries gave exciting presentations on all aspects of cutting edge research on subtle energies and

their applications for healing and treatment in humans, animals, and agriculture. A chart showing photos of the speakers and their topics is shown below, and a complete set of abstracts of presentations given, arranged in alphabetical order is available here. This conference had attendees from all over the United States and a number of foreign countries. The 2015 conference was organized through the great efforts of Beverly Coleman, Gail Ruggles, and Scott Beutlich, current Treasurer and son of Bob Beutlich (1923-2009), one of the original founders of the USPA in 1975. A large array of lectures and workshops were provided to the attendees, and all are described in the abstracts link above. In addition, a separate ballroom was provided where a large number of vendors and practitioners provided displays and demonstrations of their products and services. During this conference, elections were held for USPA officers and board members with the following results: President: Jon Klimo, Ph.D.; VP (Scientific Research & Conference Speakers): Glen Rein, Ph.D.; VP (Exhibitor Relations): Bob Peters; VP (Radionics & Agriculture): George Kuepper; VP (Archives & Records): John H.Reed, M.D.; Secretary / Treasurer: Scott Beutlich; and Executive Secretary: Daniel Taylor; USPA Board members include current members: Tim Lippert (Chairman of the Board); Lutie Larsen, Jon Klimo, Ph.D., Eric Rowley, and Ed Kelly. Newly elected Board members included: Beverly Rubik, Ph.D., Linda Lancaster, N.D., Daniel Taylor, and John H. Reed, M.D. Because of the success of this conference, plans are already being made for the 2016 conference. So for those who would like to make presentations at the 2016 USPA Annual Conference, please write to: [email protected]

  • USPA Independent Local Groups

One of the things we would like to do is resurrect as independent local groups, all of the former USPA Chapters that once existed across the US and in other countries. For tax reasons, however, these groups can no longer be called “Chapters”, since special IRS rules apply to official chapters, and any such independent local groups would not be under the tax-exempt umbrella of the USPA. Moreover, local groups would not be subject to USPA’s supervision or control, but would work together with USPA in a mutually beneficial relationship to achieve our mutual goals of advancing research and applications in psychotronics, radionics, subtle energy, and related fields. In addition, we would like to encourage the organization and establishment of new groups in other cities and countries.

Local independent groups are important, because they enable USPA members in local areas to periodically get together and discuss, share experiences, and engage in activities related to psychotronics, radionics, and similar subjects. Local groups also are a way to educate the public about these subjects and the benefits that psychotronics can provide to people’s personal health, plants, animals, and the community at large. Moreover, local groups and their activities could be an effective way to help recruit new USPA members and help our organization grow.

At one time there were 24 USPA “Chapters”, all of which can be reorganized and resurrected as local independent groups. Among those 24 were the following, arranged alphabetically by state:

16 of the Former USPA Chapters in the United States:

    Alabama: Excalibur Chapter (Huntsville area)

California: Northern California Psychotronics Association (Yuba City area)

California: Souther Califronia Association of Psychotronics ( Los Angeles area)

Florida: Souther Florida Chapter (Palm Beach area)

    Georgia: Atlantis Chapter (Atlanta area)

    Indiana: Chapter (Indianapolis area)

  • Illinois: Wild Onion Chapter (Chicago area)

Massachusetts: Massachusetts Psychotronics Chapter of USPA (Boston area)

New York: Capital District Chapter (Troy area)

New York: Long Island Chapter (Long Island area east of NYC))

New York: New York City Chapter (Manhattan area)

Ohio: Phoenix Chapter (Dayton and Miami River Valley area)

    Ohio: Zenith Chapter (Cleveland area)

    Oregon: Eugen Chapter (Eugene area)

Washington, DC: Washington, DC Chapter (WDC and suburban DC areas in Virginia and Maryland)

Wisconsin: Blackhawk Chapter (Southern Wisconsin and northern Illinois area)

    Foreign Countries:

Mexico: Guadalajara Chapter (Guadalajara and Jalisco State area)

So if any of you were once a member of any of the former USPA chapters, and would like to reestablish a local organization, please write to John Reed at [email protected]. And if there never was a USPA chapter in your area, please consider starting an independent local group.

Starting a new group or re-establishing a former group is a very easy thing to do. You could actually do it quickly and easily by going to www.meetup.com , and clicking on the big red word “Start” in the upper left, and then just following the step-by-step procedures. You could call your group the “City Name - Friends of the USPA” or some other appropriate name. And if you need any help, please let me know, and I will help you in any way I can. Perhaps the most important thing is enthusiasm and determination, so write to me, even if you don’t know any other USPA members in your area, and I will help you set up a local group.

I will be posting suggested guidelines for starting and operating local independent groups, as well as, suggestions for group activities in future USPA Newsletters.

  • USPA Library and Archives

    Library:

One of the major goals and activities of the USPA is to build up its library of books, periodicals, articles, and other materials on the subjects of psychotronics, radionics, subtle energies, and related subjects. We eventually want to make these items, as much as possible, available to all USPA members to help them in their research.

We are collecting and preserving all items on these subjects for the USPA library and archives, so if have any articles, periodicals, books, or other materials that you would like to donate to the USPA library, or that you would like us to preserve for you, please let us know. Almost everyone has numerous PDFs of articles, periodicals, and books on their computers or discs, and if you do, you can just send them by email or via a file sharing service to the email below. If you have physical items, then you can send them to us, or we will arrange to pick them up. Please let our librarian and archivist , John Reed, know of anything you have available to contribute, since he is coordinating this activity: [email protected] , or call 443-858-0757.

We are also digitizing all known periodicals on psychotronics, radionics, and related subjects, of which there are at least 25 different periodical titles. We are also digitizing all of the old tapes of prior USPA conferences, and hope to make these available to USPA members in some way as well. Among the periodicals and journals we have collections of, or are attempting to acquire back issues of, are:

    Mind and Matter: published by George DeLaWarr of the DeLawarr Laboratories in Oxford, England from 1957-1967. We have a complete set of these very rare journals;

DeLaWarr Laboratories Newsletter: published by George and Marjorie DeLaWarr, and later their daughter Diana Di Pinto, from 1964-1986. We have most of these, but if you have any, please let us know what issues you have so we can see if there are any issues missing.

    mailto:[email protected]

  • Radionics Journal: Published by the Radionics Association in England from 1943 through the present; We have a complete set of these from Vol. 1, no. 1 (1954), through 1995, but none after that.

Subtle Energies: Published by the International Society for the Study of Subtle Energies and Energy Medicine (SSSEEM) from 1990 through the present, with some interruptions. We have some but not all of these.

    Physico-Clinical Medicine: This journal was started in 1916 by the father of radionics, Dr. Albert Abrams, and continued to be published up through 1938, by Fred J. Hart, who took over the College of Electronic Medicine after Abrams died in 1924. We have all issues from 1916-1923, but none after that;

    Journal of Electronic Medicine: This was a continuation of Physico-Clinical Medicine, and ran 1939-1945, published by Fred J. Hart; We need all issues;

Electronic Medical Digest: published 1946 to about 1955, also by Fred J. Hart; We need all issues.

These are just a few of the many periodicals that have been published over the years focusing on psychotronics, radionics, subtle energies, and related subjects. So if you happen to have any periodicals that you could help us with to fill out the USPA collection, please let us know. If you want to keep certain items, but would be willing to lend them to us, we will make a copy and return them to you.

Also, please check your computer hard drives, external hard drives, thumb discs, CDs, DVDs, and other digital storage devices to see if you have any periodicals, books, or articles that have already been digitized that you could contribute. Digitizing takes a lot of time and is quite costly, so you could help us save a lot of time and money by contributing items that you have that are already digitized. If we all work together, we can create a large USPA library that will greatly benefit all USPA members in their research and practices.

  • Exchange Corner

Prior USPA Newsletters had a section called “Exchange Corner”, which was a place for USPA members to buy, exchange or sell items of interest, or request information or other help in relation to something wanted. We will continue that tradition with the our newsletter, so if there is anything you want to buy, sell or trade that has to do with psychotronics, radionics, subtle energy, or related subjects, please contacted the Classified Ads manager at: [email protected]. For the next few issues, all such ads will be free of charge, so please send your ads and wanted requests as soon as possible before advertising charges begin.

Wanted: Any issues of the Newsletter of the American Society of Dowsers, published from 1961 through 1963. These were 8.5X11 inch sheets stapled together, and not the digest size journal that you may be familiar with, which began in 1964. Contact John at: [email protected]

Wanted: Any articles, periodicals, books, or other materials on psychotronic related subjects that you can donate or lend to the USPA for its library and archives. The USPA is a nonprofit, 501(c)(3), tax exempt organization, and as such, you are able to make tax deductible donations to the USPA. Please email the USPA at: [email protected] to make arrangements. Thank you for your generosity.

Wanted for the USPA Newsletter: Short articles and stories about your psychotronic activities and experiences past and present, or your plans for the future. Let us know what you personally are doing, or that your group is doing. Also any ideas or suggestions you have for USPA would be most welcome. Send you email to the editor John: [email protected]

Does anyone happen to have the book, Contact with Space, by Wilhelm Reich, M.D.? This book was published in New York by Core Pilot Press in 1957, and was the last book Reich published, before the FDA sent him to prison for trying to help treat people with cancer, and then burnt his books. • WHAT IS PSYCHOTRONICS?

The United States Psychotronics Association defines psychotronics as the science of mind-body-environment relationships, an interdisciplinary science concerned with the interactions of matter, energy, and consciousness. Psychotronics involves the study, research, and applications of the physics and technology of the mind, brain, spirit, consciousness, and the underlying forces of life and nature – hence the term “psychotronics”.

We believe that a true understanding of the universe must include the spiritual, as well as, the technical, and provide an opportunity for amateur researchers to present their findings along with the professionals. We stress research, with documentation of results, and practical applications, rather than personal experience and unsupported hypotheses.

Some of the forces, fields, waves, and energies studied and researched in psychotronics include: bioelectromagnetism, biophotons, biopotentials, electromagnetic wave pollution and harmful effects; coherent emanations of DNA, emanations of matter, “free energy”, morphogenetic fields, non-hertzian waves, orgone energy, pyramid energy and power, qi (chi), quantum fields, scalar waves, subtle energies, ultra-weak radiation of living matter, zero-point energy, and others.

Some of the phenomena believed to be produced or involved with the above fields and energies: action-at-a-distance, the aura of the body and other living things, bioinformation, bioluminescence, chakras, consciousness, distant inter-cellular interactions, meridians of the body, mind-body interactions, non-locality, the placebo effect, quantum consciousness, spontaneous remission of cancer and other diseases, water memory, water structure, and others.

Related fields of study and research covering the above forces, energies, and phenomena of psychotronics: bioelectromagnetics, bioenergetics, biophotonics, biophysics, psionics, psychoenergetics, psychoneuroimmunology, quantum biology, radionics, scalar electromagnetics, and others.

Some practices, techniques, and applications related to psychotronics include: acupuncture, biogeometry, brain entrainment, clairvoyance, dowsing, energy healing and medicine, extrasensory perception, feng shui, homeopathy, kirlian photography, magnetic therapy, pendulum use and methods, prayer effects, psionic medicine, psychic healing, psychometry, qigong, radiesthesia, radionics, remote viewing, shamanism, sound and sonic healing, telekinesis, telepathy, and others.

Some Prominent People in the history of psychotronics research and application:

Albert Abrams, Thomas Bearden, Robert C. Beck, Robert O. Becker, Jacques Benveniste, David Bohm, Harold Saxon Burr, George W. Crile, Ruth Drown, T. Galen Hieronymus, Vlail P. Kaznacheyev, Georges Lakhovsky, Wilhelm Reich, Royal R. Rife, Rupert Sheldrake, Nikola Tesla, Marcel Vogel, and others.
