This “course” has been designed to introduce you to the Greek of the New Testament in a non-threatening manner. No grade will be taken. No “credits” will be conferred. Your potential to learn this exciting language will provide you with a new window into the biblical world and the text of the New Testament. My prayer is that I will be able to facilitate your desire to learn!

II. COURSE OBJECTIVES At the conclusion of this “course” fellow-learners should be able to:

A. Demonstrate a grasp of basic Greek vocabulary.

B. Demonstrate a grasp of the second half of Dr. Black’s Learn to Read New Testament Greek.

C. Engender a love of biblical Greek.

D. Learn both the value and fruits of discipline through the rigors of language study.

E. Learn to appropriately use the tools necessary for language study.

IV. GRADING POLICY

A. QUIZZES: A quiz will be administered each week at the beginning of class and will cover material from the previous week's class. Your quiz average will constitute 50% of your end of semester grade.

B. EXAMS: A comprehensive Midterm will be given over the first five

lessons. A comprehensive Final will be given over the last 13 lessons at the end of the class. The Midterm and Final will constitute 50% of your end of semester grade.
