What a great time to be in the cattle business; prices are at an all time high in every class. I know for all of you reading this, you are saying it is about time too! You kept hearing better times were around the corner and you kept your faith. Many did not and those that bailed out of the industry are now members of the “Wish I Hadda” club rather than the “Wish I Would Have Believed” club.

Now that things are good, we will see a rebuilding of the cow herd and the only way to build a larger cow herd is to breed heifers. That puts the Salers breed into a great position with the trouble free, sleep easy calving ease the breed can offer. Not only do you get the convenience

at calving time as your heifers are having low birth calves, you are also getting tremendous growth that a lot of other calving ease breeds cannot offer.

The breeders in this sale are committed to the breed and the beef business. They are long time breeders that are offering a set of sale cattle that have a high degree of predictability, as they have been developed over multiple generations of proven, predictable cow families that have been mated to the top sires the breed has to offer; we also have an elite set of females to sell. Whether you are looking for good commercial females to expand your herd or a new donor cow, we have what you are looking for.
