1. Watch: ‘10 inventions that will make your
life easier’
https://safeYouTube.net/w/dWqO
2. Look around your house or classroom and
choose an invention that makes your life
easier. For example, instead of having to
cook your food on a campfire, you might
have a stove to cook it.
3. Draw a picture of you using the invention
4. Draw a picture of what you would have to
do if you didn’t have that invention
For example:
With the invention Without the invention
Finding basic patterns in fact families.
1. Use the BookWidget Random number
wheel to get 2 random numbers
2. Add the two numbers
3. Make sure you spin the wheel at least 5
times and write down your addition
problem and then solve.
For example, if you spin the number 5 and
10, you would write 5 + 10. I would then add
5 and 10 and write my answer which is 15.
5+10=15.

order of when you think they were invented.
For example:
How to make a tiger carrier
My pet tiger gets too tired to walk so needs to be
carried. An invention that helps move the tiger
around without it having to walk would be very
useful for a tiger, and a zookeeper. As tigers are very
heavy, the invention will make sure the user is
comfortable and safe.
Materials:
- blanket
- rope
- velcro
- scissors
- glue
- stapler

Step 1: cut out a square from the blanket that is big
enough to cover a tiger
Step 2: staple and glue the rope to the edges of the
blanket.
Step 3: cut four holes in the blanket for the tiger’s

looking / backwards shot.
If you would like, you
can film a video of
yourself doing a trick
shot and upload it onto
teams in the sports

A playlist is a list of songs that
are played one after the other.
To make a playlist of memories,

You may have heard a song:
· On a day out
· On a family holiday
· At home with a
special person
· At school
These songs could be:
· Family songs
· From an assembly
· From a show
· Something you have
danced to
Once you have thought about
your playlist, speak to a family
