What was New York like a hundred years ago?

very tall skyscrapers. There were bigbuilding though!

There were theatres.Now, there are thousands

Just big houseshad electriclights.

Poor peopleused candles.

phones or computers then.

microwaves.

There weren´t any

televisions.

There were cookers.

What about transportation?

There weren´t any

planes or airports. But there were lots of horse carriages, big boats and some underground trains.

There were taxis and some people had cars.
