Cantrell Vacuum Transport Systems are Versatile and Dependable Cantrell has set the industry standard in Vacuum Transport Systems for 35 years. Over that time, Cantrell has developed and perfected various premium vacuum transport systems that meet the individual needs of our customers. “Whether it’s moving product where conveyors are not an option or transporting product to a separate facility, we have the ability to design systems to meet our customer’s requirements,” says Jesse Jones, Cantrell Manager/Service. “We have vacuum systems in operation capable of longer transportation lengths than many of our competitors.” Through research and development, Cantrell is constantly innovating new components to reduce labor and maintenance costs associated with large, complex systems. Along with offal vacuum systems and edible product vacuum systems, Cantrell designs and manufactures other customized systems for specified customer applications. Offal Vacuum System The Offal Vacuum System is capable of up to 16 pick-up points on a single system, and Cantrell has installed systems in excess of 2,500 feet. The systems are applicable in picking, evisceration and further processing areas of a poultry plant. The systems can be used to move heads, feet, shanks and knuckles, oil sacs, intestinal packages, condemned product, necks, gizzard harvester by-products, neck skin, skin, carcasses, keel tips, bones and bone residue, and other offal.

It features a water re-use system whichleads to less water consumption.The Virginia Poultry Growers Coop has used the Offal Vacuum System for 12 years in its turkey operation.We installed two Cantrell vacuum systems in September 2003 in our deboning system to remove deboned bones, skin, and the bone content from our mechanically separated turkey, says Phil Miller, VPGC Engineering Manager. The system is capable of transporting breast shells, backs, skin, thighs, legs, necks, paws, whole wings and wing parts.Cantrell was one of the rst to successfully transport paws in an air conveying system. The Paw Transportation System Vacuum Transport Systems, continued from p. 1is cost-efcient to operate, using a low horsepower power source and needs little to no water to operate. The clean in place (CIP) system controls can be incorporated into the main system controller.Cantrells Wing Transport System was initially developed to transport wing parts but it has also been adapted to move whole wings. The control system can be customized for a plants needs. It has an integrated clean in place control system, status monitoring and CIP time traceability. The controls can be customized for each plants needs.Custom Vacuum Systems Cantrell can develop custom systems for a customers specic needs, and offers online support for all vacuum systems. Cantrell technicians can access a plants controller to view the system and settings and make any necessary modications.Weve been building and installing vacuum systems for a long time, Jones says.
