CRISIS IN EDO STATE HOUSE OF ASSEMBLY:Enough is Enough

e recent in ghting within the legislature and squabbles at the government level leaves a lot to be desired.

In our view, the behavior of those concerned is an inexcusable exercise that put good governance, properties and lives at stake to the detri-ments of the common man and the electorates.

ose perpetuating this in- ghting promote a deliber-ate ploy to destabilize the peace in Edo State resulting in the delay of legislative ac-tivities and key govenmental initiatives.

ENAW hereby calls for peaceful resolution of the on-going crisis in the overall interest of the Edo people. All parties should not forget that sel sh imbroglio does not provide solutions or put an end to problems, but rather the opposite. While not casting blame on any particular group or fashion, ENAW however siezes this opportunity to acknowledge the works and e orts of the leadership of Governor Comrade Adams Oshiomhole for all the developmental initiatives that are visible in the length and breadth of the state since the incep-tion of his administartion.

We at ENAW will continue to monitor the a airs of the State, and express our concerns as we may see t regarding how our homeland of Edo State is currently managed. We pledge to do our altmost best to continue our support of various Edo State insfrastures and services.

We hope to be in Edo State in the month of December 2014, to con-tinue with our annual Medical Mission in collaboration with St. Ga-briel’s Medical Center and the Nigeria Nurses Association of North America. In addition, ENAW will be implemeting its phase two of the international park and recreation facilities located at Utekon in Benin-City during the same time period.

Our goal is to identify the best way to ensure e ective collaboration with Edo State Government and the business community at home on various initiatives for the bene t of the people of Edo State.
