ARCHRIVALS MEET IN ASIAN CUPSPECTACLE MATCH BETWEEN SOUTH KOREA AND JAPAN

On January 25th 2011, South

Korea and Japan had an intense match in semi-final of the Asian Cup and game ended

with Japanese triumph since they overthrew Korean in penalty kicks after an extra time.

Amazing game indeed, ever since Ryoichi Maeda made a second score and

Japan dominated Korea over 2:1, it was already decided game that the game would

likely be won by Japanese before the extra time finishes.

However, the goal from Jae Won, just 5 seconds before the match ends,

astonished all the people around the world who were throbbingly watching the match.

After an extended game, the match went into the PK (Penalty Kick). Here,

the game was completely determined by the Japanese overwhelming scores. Japanese

players, Shinji, Honda, and Makoto, scored 3 points whereas Korean players, Koo Ja Cheol,

Yun Bit Garam failed to make a score.The game therefore, ended with

5:2 by Japanese victory. Both teams fought quite well during the match and most people

recognized this fantastic game as one of the best soccer match in the world.

On the other hand, most people

and football experts did not expect that Japan would beat Korea in this match. One of

the reasons is that the South Korean has previously won Japanese 40 times although

the FIFA ranking of Korea is 39th while Japan is currently ranked 29th. The Korean players

have always shown a strong spirit when they have a match against Japan.

Korean soccer captain Park Ji Sung, who is currently running in Europe as

midfielder of Manchester United, plans to join the century club for his country. He said “I

made my international debut on April 5, 2000 against Laos, and won my 99th cap against

Iran.”Furthermore, Lee Chung Young,

the other English Premier League player of Bolton Wanderers, had shown leadership in

his team with Ji Sung Park that they dominate the middle of the game during the match

against Japan.Korea had scored eight goals in

Asian Cup, but, only one of them has come from a striker. Koo Ja Cheol said. “Though

our forward hasn’t scored a lot, unexpected players like me have found the net. I think it is

Click Movie Review

Would you believe it if someone

told you that there is a universal remote that

speeds up, slows down, and pauses a moment? I watched a comedy movie called

“Click” directed by Frank Coraci and it was unbelievable to see that main character uses

the remote control to skip all the tedious parts of his life. He passes all the difficult sections of

his life but afterwards he pays the price for that folly.

The architect Michael Newman (Adam Sandler) is a typical middle-class salary

man with his lovely and gorgeous wife Donna (Kate Beckinsale) and their son Ben and

daughter Samantha, and constant visits of his parents. Michael is workaholic and under

stress since he is trying to satisfy his boss with overwork and get a partnership in a company.

Thus, he gives priority to his work and neglects the family issues. One day, Michael goes to a

department store to buy a universal remote control. Then he incidentally meets the strange

salesman Morty (Christopher Walken) who offers him a remote control that is capable of

controlling his own universe. However, since he depends too much on the remote control, he

loses a control of device. He passes all the momentous parts of his life and later finds out

he was divorced because of burden some works. He thinks spending his annoying times

would help him overcome the difficulties, but in fact, that leads him to encounter more extreme

hardships. Then, he tries to unsnarl the like

getting rid of Donna’s new husband and restoring the relationship with his children

which seems too late to recover. So now, what would Michael do to restore family problems?

“Click” is a very interesting comedy yet teaching us a valuable lesson that family

comes first. Adam Sandler represents an ordinary person who possesses a conception

that being successful in his or her own career would favorably affect the beloved family.

However, it is proven that having a balance life between work and family is the best choice to

take. Meanwhile, this movie also tells us that skipping the difficult moments would not

release us from the difficulties; on the contrary, it would badly affect our lives. There are many

hilarious entertainments like the dog raping duck doll and Michael slapping the boss on a

cheek while pausing the time. All and all, I laughed so much that I could not breathe after

the movie finished. I recommend this movie to people especially who are tired of their work

and omit all their difficulties because it tells you what would happen afterwards.

Sushi TeiOne of the most famous Japanese

restaurants called ‘Sushi Tei’ prides itself on its various, fancy, and palatable foods. Since its

sky-scraping reputation leads my Japanese friend ‘Yusuke’ and me to visit the restaurant, I

could experience the Japanese type of sea foods.

When I first entered the restaurant, I felt delicacies near the circumstances,

especially its decoration, structure and quality. First of all, I saw the luxurious and grand white

signboard that confirms to people it is a certain and trustworthy restaurant. Then, I stared at

the exposed kitchen that was very long like a road and sat at a dining table attached to the

front of the kitchen. Its fascinating structure truly induced me to be impressed.

After sitting down at the table, Yusuke and I could notice there were a lot of

people in this restaurant. Their conversations, talks and chats streamed into our ears and that

noise was boisterous. In the vortex of noises, the waitress’s voice rose. She asked “What

food are you going to eat?” So, we hurriedly looked at the menu that the waitress handed

us. Every time I glanced at the dishes

on the menu, each seemed very tasty and delicious. However, the menu was so

enormous that when I touched it, I wonder how thick this menu could be. Perhaps it contains

all popular Japanese foods to attract as many customers as it can. We ordered a dish named

‘Kirishima’ meaning a packet of sushi and

Japanese roll rise. The pictures above show exactly what ‘Kirishima’ is.

As soon as the food that we ordered came out, I tasted a tuna sushi; its

dainty flavor melted into my tongue. It was so delicious that I tried another sushi again. It was

a triumph sushi and its taste was just like a real triumph leaping on my tongue, spouting out a

delicacy.After eating all the sushi and roll

rises, we realized that it took only three minutes to finish the food. Because the dish

was so delicious, we ate it too hastily. We then knew why all people who had been to ‘Sushi

Tei’ said it is the best restaurant in the world. Probably, it might be one of the top 10

restaurants in the world as its franchises are spread worldwide, presenting a good quality of

foods. I think this restaurant is the most

commendable restaurant as far as I know. Its unforgettable taste of food reminds me of the

triumph rolling on my tongue incessantly.

Student’s life in JIS It was quite gloomy day; my friends, Anthony and Keith, and I felt really depressed. We were gathered up at Anthony’s house to complete a biology lab and since we could not figure out what to do for the lab, we all got irritated. Certainly, we need a laugh to invigorate ourselves.

In a whirlpool, we found a movie called “Click” on a table in front of us. The cover of DVD displayed a famous comedy actor Adam Sandler and we ascertained that it would be a truly funny movie. So we inserted CD into the DVD player and turned on a big television. We sat in a comfortable sofa and glanced at the TV casually for a while.

Then, we noticed that something went wrong with the DVD player. The CD had no problems but DVD player just did not operate properly. We had no choice but to watch the movie on Keith’s 17 inch Mac laptop. Since it has a pretty large screen just like the TV, we were satisfied although it was quite uncomfortable with three people sitting each on a chair and watching one laptop screen.

As movie begun, I turned off the light to make it feel like we are watching a film in the cinema. It started with our favorite movie star Adam Sandler having a normal life with his gorgeous wife Donna and other family members. When we saw her beautiful face and sexy body, we shouted out loud for joy because we were feeling not only depressed but also lonely.

a successful in his field, always discontents with his overwork.

Then, one day he meets the strange salesman Morty and receives a universal remote control that is capable of controlling his own universe. When he gets remote control, he starts using it. The funniest part was slapping the boss cheek while pausing the time. As his boss conducts silly behavior towards Michael, Michael uses his remote control to ease his mind. In addition, the dog having sexual harassment with a duck doll made us laugh. But we knew that they are all low-class jokes.

The movie contains many hilarious parts; therefore, we could laugh a lot that somewhat made our mind relieved from the biology lab. Since we knew what would happen after trying to skip all burden some work, we realized doing the biology lab in the rightful time was the most suitable act to follow. Therefore, we could finish biology lab on time.

CONCLUSION & EVALUATION

Looking  back  what  I  have  experienced  during  my  junior  life,  I  just  don’t  know  how  to  express  all  these  in  word  that  students  shared  love,  good  moments,  and  dif>iculties  all  together.  We  all  know  our  age  is  one  of  the  most  challenging  years  in  our  lives.  Most  of  us  take  IB  diploma,  IB  certi>icate  or  AP  courses  and  these  courses  make  our  lives  depressed.  However,  despite  of  these  bunch  of  school  works  and  hardship,  juniors  endure  the  dilemma  quite  well.  Article  above  justi>ies  this  statement  that  

although  Keith,  Anthony  and  Ji  Hwan  were  threatened  by  biology  lab  due  date,  they  watched  a  comedy  movie  together  and  overcome  the  problems.  I  think  all  this  could  be  done  because  people  who  stand  next  to  them  take  care  of  each  other  and  even  undergo  dif>iculties  together.  Even  though  there  are  people  who  could  not  bear  to  >ight  with  their  dif>iculties,  tell  them  to  don’t  worry  and  read  this  newspaper.  ‘JIS  Junior  Life’  helps  people  to  become  energetic  by  sharing  issue  or  story  together.  One  of  the  most  favorite  parts  of  this  newspaper  is  recommendation  of  restaurant  and  movie.  These  are  selected  to  encourage  those  people  who  suffer  from  their  hardships.  First  of  all,  movie  ‘Click’  gives  us  a  valuable  lesson  that  is  needed  to  achieve  our  lives.  Therefore,  it  de>initely  helps  gloomy  people  to  get  encouraged.  Furthermore,  famous  Japanese  restaurant  ‘Sushi  Tei’  presents  

lovely  foods  that  make  people  to  feel  better.  (Caution:  People,  who  have  allergy  of  seafood,  do  not  need  to  come.  We  will  suggest  you  another  fancy  restaurant).  All  in  all,  juniors  in  JIS  are  quite  charming  and  have  potential  of  being  successful  afterwards,  as  they  know  how  to  share  emotions,  memories  and  dif>iculties.  I  am  proud  that  I  am  one  of  the  JIS  students  who  

present  this  type  of  newspaper  to
