February Wrap Up 2020
• Stollery Tournament – Atom SA410 Wolves, Peewee SA500 Sabres and Peewee SA511
Spartans all won their division at the 2020 Stollery Family Day Classic Tournament
• Atom SA400 Lightning won Ford Drills & Skills
• Atom SA402 Barons hosted a successful tournament Family Day weekend
• Atom Female SA420 Spitfires took home Bronze at the Hockey In The Rockies
tournament in Banff
• Peewee SA501 Saints had a great time in Québec at the Tournoi International De Hockey
Pee-Wee De Québec, it was a trip of a lifetime!
• SAMHA athletes Jet Devlin, Braelyn Plaquin, Grace Charko, Jack Kachkowski, Dylan
Karran, Connor Schmidt, Finn Kallay, Will Lutic & Joseph Stabile took part in the Alberta
Winter Games in Airdrie. Jack & Dylan’s Zone 7 team took Gold!
• Peewee SA514 Rockies won Bronze in Edson
• Midget SA714 Rangers hosted a successful tournament Family Day weekend

SA617 Gives Back
On February 16, after spending the day preparing, Bantam SA617 spent the evening down at Hope Mission. The
team handed out 300 packed lunches, fed hot meals to 300 of Edmonton’s homeless and distriubted 4 truckloads of
donated clothing. Way to go St. Albert Rock!
Scholarships Do you have a player or referee who is going to be attending post secondary? SAMHA and the Raiders have
scholarships! Applications are now being accepted for the Chris Rogers Memorial Midget Scholarship, Referee
Scholarship, Esso Cup Legacy Female Midget Scholarship, and Raiders Male Midget Scholarship. For more
