FUNFEST 25TH ANNIVERSARY!!by Julia Bryant
WARNING! Do not be the person who says “Awww man –
I didn’t know that was going on”! This year will blow you
away with all we have planned and we don’t want you to
miss out, so make plans NOW to spend the day with us
enjoying all things FUN.
From start to finish, all ages will have something to do.
Like every year, we will have some of the best Arts & Crafts
vendors around, plus fantastic Fair food, contests and
demonstrations. But we will also be bringing back some
oldies but goodies as well as some new and exciting addi-
tions. How about a Zip Line? Or an authentic Wild West
Gunfight Show? Or a Jail House 5K? Or Military Vehicle
Rides? Or a Truck Pull? OR – for the First Time Ever: A
MicroFest. We will have over 20 different breweries with
samples to try. All proceeds from MicroFest will go to Our
Daily Bread Food Pantry and the Royse City Animal Shel-
ter. The proceeds from our 5K will go to restoration efforts
of our Historic Old Jail; proceeds from the Children’s
pageant will go to Prayers for Piercen; and we will also
have a booth set up to raise funds for Prayers for Keylee.
Be a part of the community atmosphere. If you would like
to volunteer that day just let me know! You will get a
T-Shirt and a full heart from doing so. Sponsor
information is also at the end of this Newsletter.

NEWS FROM YOURDIRECTOR
julia bryantMany heartfelt thanks to all of you who had a part in our Casino Night & Silent Auction this year!
We are always so overwhelmed by the donations of
auction items and the generosity of this community
to step up and sponsor this fun night. I also had a hard
working group of committee members who made sure
the evening was a success. Big Sky Event Hall is a
gorgeous venue, so be sure to keep them in mind
for your next function.
