To sponsor. What does it mean to sponsor?? The dictionary says, “To sponsor something is to support an event, activity, person, or organiza- tion financially or through the provision of products or services. A sponsor is the individual or group that provides the support.” And with that, we cannot and would not be the Chamber that we are if it were not for our sponsors! We have but only three events that require spon- sors....I know, seems like more, but no, only three. These three are our Golf Tournament, our Silent Auction and Casino Night and Funfest. We rely on our sponsors for these events, for without them they would not be the magnificent events that they are. And with that, it is that time of year where you can avoid those phone calls by letting us know up front which events you would like to sponsor. It’s one stop shopping! At the end of this newsletter you will find the sponsorship form. Simply fill it out and send it back to me via email or regular mail, it’s that simple! You can even pay now or pay later. 5th Annual Adopt-a-Grandparent

Christmas Community Service Project

Join us in making this Christmas Season special for elderly residents in your community.

Our Mary Kay Units are doing a community outreach program called “Adopt-a-Grandparent”.

We are adopting local senior care facilities in Royse City, Greenville, Commerce and

Sulphur Springs. The Royse City facility will be Royse City Health Care & Rehabilitation Center.

This might be the only gift some of them receive this Christmas!

This is a community effort and we need your help! We are partnering with businesses,

organizations and individuals in adopting this special group of people for Christmas. For every

$10 donation, a special pampering gift will be given to each resident and a “kid-made”

Christmas card. Your business card, group name or personal name will go on the gifts.

This is a non-profit community service project, and it is a tax deduction for all businesses and

individuals that make a donation.

We are overwhelmed by the positive response from the community in the past years, and

welcome your participation this year. Together we can make someone's Holiday special!

Be one of our PREFERRED PARTNERS! How many grandparents would you like adopt?

Bronze Donor: 2 grandparents ($20 donation)

Silver Donor: 5 grandparents ($50 donation)

Gold Donor: 10 grandparents ($100 donation)

*Platinum Donor: 50 grandparents ($500 donation)
