As you might imagine there is a lot to consider before we share the details with you - but rest assured we will share the details with you as soon as we can. The Teacher/TA teams have now been shared with the staff so we’re in a position to prepare transition messages for your children from their new teacher. September, new class teams and exciting news

We are working on a plan to allow all of our children to return safely to school on Thursday 3rd September. As you might imagine there is a lot to consider before we share the details with you - but rest assured we will

share the details with you as soon as we can.

The Teacher/TA teams have now been shared with the staff so we’re in a position to prepare transition messages for your children from their new teacher. We’ll also be sharing social stories to help to prepare

children for their return in September. A lot has changed and for lots of families it has been a very long time since the last school run so it is perfectly normal to feel some anxiety. We’re all here for your children and your

family, so please get in touch if you’d like some support on how to manage this.

Lastly from me this week - I have some very exciting news to share with you. We will be welcoming Mrs Tina Oakley to our team in the role of Head of School from September. I will still be here as Executive Headteacher but Mrs Oakley’s addition to the team will bring increased capacity to the team to help our school continue to

move onwards and upwards! Mrs Oakley has been Head of School for a number of years in another of our Trust Primaries and we are delighted that she will be joining us in a permanent role.

Louise Hopkins, Executive Headteacher

Confirmed FSM vouchers: The Edenred voucher scheme will continue over the summer break (last day for children is Weds 22nd July).

It will be paid in 2 installments to cover the whole holiday:1st one - 20th July 20202nd one - 10th August 2020

School closed on Fridays for all children.

Google Classroom Access from today - go straight to google, com and log in with your child’s @swale account to get in.

Thank you to the wonderful support staff at Beaver Green Primary School. A special thank you to those of you leading Pods!

When all the Beavers return...

New Logo, New Uniform

To celebrate the launch of our new logo we are providing one free jumper or cardigan to every child in our school.

We are also providing one free PE t-shirt to every child, in their house colour. From September onwards there will be no branded PE t-shirt, just the house colour. We hope this will make it easier for families to source unbranded colour t-shirts in the future.

We just ask that you trade these for an old branded t-shirt and jumper/cardi as these will no longer be allowed to be worn in school. There will be additional information about how to organise sizes and additional purchases shortly.

If you collected a new jumper/cardigan during lockdown please contact us for your options.

A mock-up of what our new logo could look like on our new green colour school jumpers.

We made Olympic torches which we are proudly holding under the Olympic rings. We have been taking part in sporting challenges which have been very enjoyable, and we all tried our best.

After watching some highlights from The 2012 Olympics we felt super human like Mo, Jessica and Greg!

Apart...yet together! This week the children and staff of year 6 were each given a piece of a larger picture. These pieces were coloured in and then reassembled to create the large picture. This shows that even though we are apart we can still work together to create something beautiful.

Hello Nursery children and staff. We wanted to tell you where we have been staying while the nursery has been closed. We have been looked after by Mrs Atkins (a TA in the main school) and settled into her home really well. Our cage is in her kitchen and we get very excited whenever she opens her fridge because we know that's where our fresh food comes from.

Mrs Atkins hasn't found anything we don't like yet! Sometimes we go outside into a run in her garden, where we get to nibble the grass. She says we do a better job of cutting the grass than her lawnmower! We also get lots of cuddles and have enjoyed our stay here. So until we all meet up again, enjoy the summer, stay safe. Peppa and Dora xx
