PVPS’ HONOUR

Annual Reunion of KEF's Alumni was held at thPVPS on 30 July in which maximum ex-students

participated actively. An extravaganza/ variety program was also organized by them. Maj. General (Retd) M. Rahim Khan, Founder Chairman KEF, Sardar Habib Khan, Chief Patron KEF, available Trustees and Directress CTE attended the event .

Essay Competition-Results

Sabahat Khurshid, a PVPS student of Class IX, second position in the Essay Writing Competition organised by Valentines High School (VHS), UK, as part of “Global School Partnership Programme”. She was awarded £ 25 cash prize, a shield along with a GSP Certificate.

Pearl Valley Public School (PVPS) again achieved 100% success in its Matric (Class X) Exams of Federal Board of Intermediate & Secondary Education (FBISE), Islamabad.

Hurmat Saeed Khan, student of Class IX (obtained 501 marks out of 525 marks) stood FIRST in District Poonch, (AJ&K).

HSSC (Part I & II) The result of HSSC was also commendable. Pearl Valley Public School & College secured two positions (sixth and twelfth) among the top 20 candidates of AJ&K Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education, Mirpur (AJKBISE).

Dr. Abdul Mujeeb Qazi, Foreign Consultant of Higher Education Commission (HEC), Pakistan visited Pearl Valley Public School &

Mr. Abdul Razzak Kazi, a Founder Trustee of KEF-th

passed away on 30 September, 2011. He served KEF with his valuable and prolific ideas during the construction of all its premises established, so far. His absence on the KEF Board will be felt.

KEF’s Institute of Teacher Education (ITE) has been upgraded to College and renamed as

“College of Teacher Education-(CTE)”

Exhibition at ITE of students' projects on subjects of Science, Mathematics,

Assessment of Pre-School Intelligence Development (APID) Test-Intake for Session 2012

Annual Founders’ Day thwas held on 15 November at Pearl Valley Public School & College. President Azad Jammu & Kashmir, Sardar Haji Muhammad Yaqoob Khan was the Chief Guest.

He lauded the students’ performance and commended their achievements in academics and other extracurricular activities. Donations of Rs. 30,000/- (as an appreciation for the students) and Rs. 1,000,000/- (for the infra structural development of the school) were

announced by the President AJ&K. The ceremony ended with the distribution of Shields and Certificates to the students on their best performance in various fields.

Teaching faculty, students and their parents of SVPS and BVPS also attended the function.

Soan Valley Public School (SVPS) held the ndAnnual Sports Day on 22 December. Air

Marshal (Retd) Masood Akhtar, Chairman KEF was the Chief Guest. The students of SVPS presented fabulous performances and made the event colorful.

Trustees, parents, local notables, Heads of educational Institutions from surrounding areas, members of the Khan Family and KEF faculty attended the event.
