The Haven at Skanda kicks off its annual Horses for the Holiday donation drive on Thanksgiving. Show your love for animals this holiday season by donating new and used horse supplies-blankets, heated buckets, tack, feed, veterinary services, etc.-so that no horse need suffer this winter. The Haven receives these supplies and distributes them to horse owners in need. Donations will be accepted at Skanda by appointment, and in donation boxes distributed throughout the community at local shops, barns, and community centers. If you know of anyone in need of assistance, please contact Skanda at 315-815-5056. thehaven@skanda.org

Forty degrees two years ago with 30 mile and hour winds and 35 degrees with non stop rain and wind this year. We will not play baseball with the weather. October 14th is our tentative date for next year.
