The Yianni Hilas campaign:

When asked what Phil’s plan for immigration was he responded with, “Immigration has nothing to do with foreign policy.”-Phil Bogomaz 2014.Part of what he is saying is true, but when it comes to illegal immigrants, there is no clear line depicting it as either a foreign affair or domestic. The issue of having millions of undocumented immigrants residing, working, and having families has not been dealt with. If Phil isn’t even willing to consider it a foreign affair, then how does he plan to fix the problem? Phil

presented his speech clearly, and got his points across in an organized way. Even though there were some information that was questionable, he still brought up great points and ideas referring to other issues.

Nick Fiorino wants to increase the number of scholarships to benefit everybody who has something to offer to college.

Race to the top is an unrealistic program, and “it’s designed to help kids, but it’s not really taking a good

leap.”-Nick FiorinoNick Fiorino seemed very informative on his research, and spoke his thoughts collectively. The media believes that he is the best candidate for the job so far.

Secretary of treasury, Tyler Davis, spoke on how he will recover the economy. Tyler says, “We will cut the amount of money we spend on imports. Why go to another country when we can make everything in

America?” Tyler wants to import less goods from other countries and manufacture more in America. He says, “I

want to read price tags that say ‘Made in the USA’.”

The Nicolette Sepe campaign:

Tom White stated that he approves “Race to the Top,” but he did not give much of a reason why. He also believes that the project that Mr. Patten and Ms. Dennis created should be shared with other schools to improve their education. “The teachers at Mepham are all very kind and they all try to help and even if they’re yelling at you, it shows they’re trying.” -Tom White

The Secretary of the Treasury for the Sepe Campaign is Sharjeel Khan. If elected, he plans on

bundling medicare payments to medical providers. He also wants to make sure that billions of US dollars do not go to waste, and hopes to start a program for high schoolers to receive financial aid so they can receive a better education in college.

Taqi and Bobby are the Secretaries of Foreign Policy for the Sepe Campaign. In their presentation, Taqi stated that 1000 Americans were killed in the War in Afghanistan within the first 3147 days. Their plan for the future of the War in Afghanistan is to send ground troops to provide aid for the people in Afghanistan. They also believe that border security is necessary to protect the US from ISIS. Regarding the issue in the Ukraine, Bobby believes that the Ukrainian people should have the right to decide for themselves whether they wanted to be pro-Russia or pro-Ukraine.

The Jeff Kaplan Campaign:

The Secretary of Education was Danielle Valentino, who was not present during the questioning, but gave us feedback on what she thought about Common Core. She expressed that

common core is being controlled by the government, which is “unconstitutional.” She explains that the government could be brainwashing the people into believing, what the government wants us to believe.

Jason Senatore, secretary of treasury, was not in attendance on speech day so Presidential candidate Jeff

Kaplan took his place. Jeff touched upon plans to diminish America’s debt. He plans to make cuts in

government funding.

Nick Sepe is the Secretary of Foreign Policy for the Kaplan Campaign. For their presentation, Nick Sepe teamed up with Presidential Candidate Jeff Kaplan and created an interview video, in which Jeff asked Nick questions on foreign affairs. When asked about his opinion on ISIS, Nick replied, “They need to be stopped and they are an evil organization.” Their video presentation can be found on their website, jeffkapprez.weebly.com.
