The trip involved discussions about health and safety in the local community, informing young children the bene- fits of being aware and careful. The parents of the young children were happy to see their children take in good advice and knowledge of the society around them. It was a bril- liant day for all parents, children, and teachers. ‘The event was very enjoyable and went well’ the police team said, as they en- joyed watching childre perform their own drama about safety. The day also involved face painting, and lots of dfifferent performances by the young children in the school. Many others followed the event and joined in with the fun. The Hands- worth Police Team also noted the different changes needed to be made in roadworks and have mentioned it to Birmingham City Council, to im- prove changes and improve health and safety in the area.
