…..From the President’s Desk
I can’t believe June is here already! The kids are out of school and summer activities will soon be in full swing. Unfortunately, this also means that hurricane season is arriving as well. We all know that high winds can turn debris into damaging projectiles, so please trim trees and limbs if needed. Please make sure wood fences are secure and not loose, or in need of repair. These are easy steps everyone can take to keep all of Islesworth safe in the event of a major storm. Please visit the Hurricane 2018 link on our Islesworth.org website for more valuable information.
The Board of Directors is always looking for volunteers for its committees. As committee positions become available, the Board will maintain a go to list of residents who are willing to serve the community as a committee member. If interested, please visit the Islesworth.org website and click on the Board / Committee link, then click on the Join a Committee link at the top of the web page.
Have a very safe and wonderful summer. Joseph R. Diliberto, President Islesworth at Martin Downs , HOA Board of Directors

Our Neighborhood Playground
Our playground is over twenty-two years old. Commercial playgrounds like ours have a life span of fifteen to twenty years. One of the many reasons for this is the advance-ment in safety standards of play structures.
Taking the safety of our children seriously, the Board has moved in the direction of replacing the playground with something newer and safer. This will improve the look of the park and increase play value for our youngest neighbors.
If you would like to be involved in choosing a new playground, please contact Julia Garcia at [email protected].
