HistoryThe North Hills Historic AutoClub was founded at Leon’sTavern on Babcock Blvd. inAugust of 1971, by 4 men asfollows: Bill Glesner, EddieKuslick, Ken Kelley & DaveMoore.
PurposeThe general purpose of theNHHAC shall be to encourage themembers to acquire, preserve,restore, exhibit and make use ofantique, classic and specialinterest automobiles, and suchother motor vehicles consideredby the club fitting this purpose.Also, the club will promote theintroduction of ideas andfellowship among its members.

A Message from the PresidentWell, with the weather so nice in January, I was tempted to driveone of the cars, but I didn't -- it wasn't just the snow or saly, but thepotholes! Oh well, spring will be here soon enough.
For those of you who missed the Janarury meeting, you missedsome nice additions. Daryl Elliott had a sing-a-long. he passed outsheets with the words and also played the music, and we just sangalong. (Just two songs so we don't over do it.
Also, Daryl had a story telling session. he would like a coupl eofmembers each month to tell a story about themselves and their carexperiences over the years. (Joe Acker would be a great one to tellsome of his stories!). Just give it some thought and consider sharingyour stories with your fellow club members.
For those of you who missed the After Christmas Party, you misseda good time. The food was great and the gifts were over the top!Jack, you and your helpers really out did yourselves! So, on behaldof the entire club, thank you for a job well done!
On a differeny note, out first trip this year will be a brunch trip toSeton Hill on May 7th. Just call me for details, if you don't make itto the meetings. I will start our Wednesday lunch tours on May17th, then it will be the 1st and 3rd Wednesday through October.(If anyone would like to plan one of these outings, pleasefeel free!) I'm also trying to organize a trip toCambridge Springs this summer.

On February 12, 2017, President Steve Illsley called the meeting to order at Luciano’s Restaurant,the site of our annual After Christmas Party.Previous meeting minutes approved. Motion made by Jenn Barker; seconded by Antoinette Quinn.
Treasurers ReportCurrent cash balance is 3,963.79. Motion to accept by Daryl Elliott; seconded by Jean King.
Wellness ReportA get-well to George Sabina, who is undergoing some medical procedures.
Old BusinessWINTER GETAWAY:Walnut Creek Ohio; Carlisle Inn, February 2017 finalized.
New BusinessRick Kelly has the new 2017 Roster for distribution. Members need to attend meetings to pick uptheir copies.
Jenn Barker received an award from Steve for all her efforts in being our newsletter editor for the lastfew years.
Steve Kelly announced the firm date for our annual Car Show, Sunday, June 4, 2017. Membershipneeds to attend. Your help and assistance will certainly be appreciated. All members please startformulating thoughts regarding the selling of Ads for our show program. Plan to close your sales lateApril/early May. Mid May, payment and Ad copy needs to be turned in; need time to set-up andprint. If all the members would sell one Ad, our show will be a great success.
A huge thanks to Jack Swaney for all his time and effort in planning our After Christmas Party.
Another thank-you to Rosemary Scott and Jack Swaney for the procurement and distribution of allgifts at the party.
