Nick Medina Senior Center

The City of Selma would like to invite you to enjoy a variety of activities at the Nick Medina Senior Center. We are open Monday through Friday from

8:00a.m.—2:00 p.m. Activities include, lunch, billiards, bingo, volleyball, ceramics, trips, and

much more. Those who are 60 and better may join us for

lunch; a $2.00 donation is suggested to help offset the

cost of the meal. Call to make a reservation

one business day in advance before 11:00 a.m. Non-seniors who would like a meal are re-quired to pay $4.00. Check in

for lunch is at 11:00 a.m. Call us at 891-2239.

Thank you to everyone who joined us during our Christmas pajama party and New Years potluck. While the holiday season comes to an end, it’s a good time to reflect on all the positive memories that were created in 2019. I know for some this

past year was a difficult one, but always remem-ber to count your blessings. Life is a beautiful experience so let’s not waste time dwelling on the bad times. Cheers to a prosperous 2020!

Volunteers Needed!

Do you enjoy helping others? Do you want to be more active in the senior center?

We need volunteers to help in the kitchen a few times a week. If you are interested

please talk to Liz.

No experience is required, we will train you!

New Policies for Trips:

A $20.00 NON-REFUNABLE deposit is required to reserve a seat. FULL PAYMENT MUST be received 30 days prior to the trip.

These new rules have been put into place because of the new regulations the

bus company has enforced.

Meal Cancellation Policy:

When a senior cancels or is a No-Show and a meal is not served, the Selma Senior Center has to pay $4.19 for this meal out of our funds. The donation assists with offsetting costs and no-shows leaves the lunch vacant and we have to pay at full cost. We are working on establishing our partnership with the FMAA and their

lunch rules are the same.

Please only sign up for lunch if you know you will be attending. If you must cancel please call us as soon as possible. We will be monitoring reservations and cancellations.
