Instruction for recent and new members:

1. When you are approved in the network please join your correspondent group so

that we can distinguish students from teachers and nationalities.

2. Then write a brief introduction of yourself in your page (text box in "my page")

and drag it to the first place, as you can see in the "example member", student (hello

kitty).

3. Upload an image for your profile. It is not necessary a personal photo, just an

image to distinguish members (like hello kitty).

4. Customize "MY PAGE" (using this button on the left upper corner you can

change colours, themes, fonts... to make your page as you whant)

MAIN PAGENETTIQUETTE FOR TRADIGAMES

- Always use acceptable and polite language.

- Make sure that any pictures or videos you upload are

acceptable.

- The common language in this project is English. Any other

language is forbidden.

- Be carefull about your personal data: never show phone

numbers, addresses or any other personal information.

- If you ever receive unpleasant or offensive messages from

anyone, inform your teacher straight away.

- Show an interest in the other culture. Ask questions, find out,

comment!

- The “Tradigames” network is ONLY for the use of students and

teachers participating in the project. The aim of the project is to

share your experiences on traditional games and share your

culture by using English language. This is not a private social

network like facebook to chat with your friends!

PRIVATE or PUBLICPUBLIC = Anyone can see it.-Post status (like the wall of facebook)-Comments on videos, photos….-Comment wall in “my page”-Chat in Main Room-Blogs and Forum

PRIVATE = only who you want can see it-Messages (you chose first the person you want to send the message)- Private Chat (by clicking first on the person you want to chat)

Best way of posting photos:My page >> My photos >> +Add Photos

When you upload a photo youshould write a brief descriptionand you can also create analbum if they are going to bemore photos of the samesubject.

Once you have posted yourphoto you can modify or deleteit by the Options menu (youclick first on the photo youwant to edit or delete)

2. Copy the link or the embed code

Appart from photos and videos, you can alsoupload files by using this button

Then, we can upoload files in a blog post, in a box text… everywhere we find thisbutton. The file will be shownas a link and when you click onit you download the file.(I was wrong when I said it was notpossible)

If you don’t want toreceive emails fromthe Network you can customize what youwant to recive oreven turn off all theemails using theSettings Options.

It is true that sometimes there are a lot of messages and can be a bit boring but it is the best wayto know what is happening in the platform! If you have problem of space, just delete the messagewhen you read it!
