SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

Make sure that the towbar is suitable for the vehicle before starting the installation.

For safety, all work involving towbar installation (incl. electrical components) must be undertaken by skilled technicians.

Damaged components must be replaced with manufacturer’s spares and fitted by qualified staff.

It is forbidden to make any modification or structural repair to towing assembly.

The towball must be kept clean and lubricated. For added safety, his diameter (50 mm) must be checked at regular intervals. If the towball measures less than 49 mm after selected readings across the diameter, the towball must be replaced with a new one.

After 1000 km of towing, check torque settings for nuts and bolts, in accordance with the table.

FITTING INSTRUCTIONS

Remove the eventual protection mastic from areas which may come in contact with the tow bar assembly and paint areas with anti-rust paint. The holes for fixing the structure are existing.

1. Remove bumper, the plastic protection under the bumper and then discard the reinforcement bar.

2. Insert the side-arms “A” inside the chassis rails referring to holes “1”.3. Locate items ”B” outside the chassis rails referring to holes “1” and “2”. Insert the

screws just in position “1”.4. Locate items “C” inside the chassis rails referring to holes “2” insert the screws

then tighten interposing large washers.5. Locate item “D” between the two side-arms “A”,referring to holes “3” and “4” then

tighten.6. Tighten all bolts and nuts as per torque settings.7. Connect the wiring to the socket.8. Cut the plastic protection as showed.9. Re-fit the plastic protection and bumper.
