March was a great month for ministry. Many guys were out on the streets
in several States.
Brent Alexander and his clown krewe led the St. Patrick’s Day Parade in
St Louis on the 12th of the month. They used a wagon to haul their supply of
tracts and stickers so the group could keep coming back for more supplies.
Carrying the Cross on Good Friday!!!! Years ago Mike Dunklin and I car-
ried the cross through the campus at SIU Carbondale. The anointing for carry-
ing the cross came from Arthur Blessitt who carried the cross around the world.
Henry Pulsifer got his anointing from Arthur and Henry carried the cross from
the Gulf of Mexico to Canada. We, in NGL, got our anointing from Henry at
Mardi Gras. Thousands of men have carried the cross with us at Mardi Gras,
Kentucky Derby and Indy 500. From NGL many men now are carrying the cross
in many places.
On Good Friday, the cross was carried in many cities: Pastor Jeff
Bealmear carried the cross in Monticello, IL - Grant Armstrong in Rushville, IL
- Jim Murphy and the Du Quoin krewe carried it in Du Quoin, IL - Robbie Jent
and krewe carried it in West Frankfort, IL - Pastor Mike Rucker and krewe
carried it in Trenton, IL - Pastor Mark Jordan and krewe carried it in Champaign,
IL - Steve Carr and krewe carried the cross in Bridgeton, MO- Ron Turnbow and
krewe carried the cross in Red Bud, IL -Pastor Jim Bates and Krewe carried the
cross in Columbus, NE and brother Edward Stagl and group carried the cross in
Sri Lanka. We contacted each group and congratulated them on their witness for
our Lord.
