Use and Responsibility
Sewn slings and sewn quickdraw slings (also known as “dogbones”) are intended for climbing and moun-taineering use only. Climbing and mountaineering are inherently dangerous activities that can result in serious injury or death. Do not use sewn slings and/or dogbones (collectively referred to herein as “sewn slings” and/or the “product”) unless you fully understand these instructions and warnings and accept all of the actual and potential risks involved. Proper training is required and essential before using this product. Trango strongly encourages all users to obtain qualified and competent instruction before using this product.
This product is designed to be used with two carabiners to connect to climbing protection and anchors while climbing and mountaineering. Do not use this product for any other purpose. This product is a static product and unlike a dynamic climbing rope will not stretch or absorb energy in the event of a fall or a shock load on the product. Do not load the product up to or beyond its rated strength or it will fail. Avoid contact with sharp edges and/or abrasive surfaces. Weighting the product over a sharp edge or abrasive surface will significantly reduce its strength and likely result in product failure.
Wet and icy conditions will reduce the product’s strength and cause the product to be more difficult to handle. Do NOT tie knots in sewn slings. Tying knots, bights, or hitches in any sewn sling product will reduce the strength of the product significantly and increase the likelihood of failure. BE SURE TO FULLY UNDERSTAND THE LIMITA-TIONS OF THE PRODUCT AND PRACTICE AND MASTER THE PROPER TECHNIQUES FOR USING THE PRODUCT IN A SAFE ENVIRONMENT BEFORE USING THEM WITH A PARTNER AND BEFORE CLIMBING OR MOUNTAINEERING.
Storage and Care
Always store the product in a dry place away from the elements. Always avoid exposure to ultraviolet rays (UV), heat, sharp objects, animals, toxic agents (which include but are not limited to: chemicals, acids, solvents, gasoline, batteries, antifreeze, caustic materials, and similar mate-rials), and any other conditions, materials and/or agents that could damage the product.
Products in need of cleaning should be hand washed in lukewarm water with no detergents or other chemicals. Allow product to air-dry in an open area, avoiding direct sunlight. Do NOT modify or repair this product. Modifying or repairing this product can result in serious injury or death.
Inspection and Lifespan
Before and after each use, always inspect the product to ensure it is in proper working condition. Look for any changes in the appearance of the product, including but not limited to: cuts or tears, evidence of wear, damage to the stitching, fraying, damage from heat or contact with toxic agents, evidence of burns, melting, or any discolor-ation, and any other indications of damage or wear. Retire all products that show any signs of damage or wear. Note that damage from toxic agents may not be visible. Retire all products that you know or suspect have been in contact with any such toxic agents. In addition to inspection before each and every use, Trango recommends a complete and thorough inspection of this product and all of the user’s climbing and mountaineering equipment by a qualified and competent individual at least once every six months.
With regular use and appropriate care, the normal lifespan of this product is approximately two to five years. The maximum lifespan of this product is 10 years. The actual lifespan will vary depending on the frequency and type of use. The product should be retired immediately after a single extreme event, such as a serious fall or load, and/or exposure to toxic agents, harsh and/or extreme environ-ments, and/or any of the conditions described above.
If you have any questions as to the condition or reliability of your gear, retire it. Destroy retired and damaged gear to prevent further use.
Compatibility with Other Equipment
It is your responsibility to make sure that you use this product properly and with other compatible products. Choose CE certified climbing and mountaineering equip-ment for use with this product and use all such equipment and this product as described in the accompanying instructions.
Limited Warranty
Sewn slings are covered by a 1 year limited warranty to the original retail purchaser from the date of purchase. This limited warranty only covers defects in materials and manufacturing. Damage that is due to normal use and wear, incorrect storage, poor maintenance, abuse, accidents, negligence, or incorrect or improper usage is not covered by this limited warranty. Products that have been modified or otherwise altered are excluded from this limited warranty. Lagerung und Pflege
Lagern Sie das Produkt stets an einem trockenen, vor Witterungseinflüssen geschützten Ort. Vermeiden Sie die Einwirkung von UV-Strahlung, Hitze, scharfen Gegenstän-den, Tieren, Schadstoffen (dazu zählen unter anderem Chemikalien, Säuren, Lösungsmittel, Benzin, Batterien, Frostschutzmittel, ätzende Stoffe und ähnliche Materi-alien) und anderen Bedingungen, Materialien und/oder Substanzen, die das Produkt beschädigen könnten.
Wenn das Produkt gereinigt werden muss, sollte es in lauwarmem Wasser und ohne Waschmittel oder andere Chemikalien von Hand gewaschen werden. Lassen Sie das Produkt an der Luft trocknen und vermeiden Sie dabei direkte Sonneneinstrahlung. Dieses Produkt darf NICHT verändert oder repariert werden. Die Veränderung oder Reparatur des Produkts kann zu schweren Verletzungen oder zum Tod führen.
Überprüfung und Nutzungsdauer
Überprüfen Sie das Produkt vor und nach jeder Ver-wendung, um sicherzustellen, dass es sich in einem ordnungsgemäßen und funktionsfähigen Zustand befindet. Achten Sie auf Veränderungen im Aussehen des Produkts, einschließlich, aber nicht beschränkt auf: Schnitte oder Risse, Anzeichen von Verschleiß, Beschädigungen der Nähte, durchgescheuerte/ausgefranste Stellen, Schäden durch Hitze oder Kontakt mit Schadstoffen, Anzeichen von Verbrennung, Schmelzen oder Verfärbung und alle sonsti-gen Hinweise auf Beschädigung oder Verschleiß. Zusätzlich zu der Überprüfung vor jeder Verwendung empfiehlt Trango mindestens einmal in sechs Monaten eine vollständige und sorgfältige Überprüfung dieses Produkts und der gesamten Klet-ter- und Bergsteigerausrüstung des Nutzers durch eine qualifizierte und kompetente Person.
Bei regelmäßiger Verwendung und entsprechender Pflege beträgt die normale Nutzungsdauer des Produkts ungefähr zwei bis fünf Jahre. Die maximale Nutzungs-dauer des Produkts liegt bei zehn Jahren. Die tatsächliche Lebensdauer ist abhängig von der Häufigkeit und der Art der Nutzung des Produkts. Das Produkt sollte nach einem einzelnen extremen Ereignis sofort aus dem Verkehr gezogen werden, zum Beispiel ein schwerer Sturz oder eine solche Beanspruchung und/oder der Kontakt mit Schadstoffen, raue und/oder extreme Umweltbedingungen und/oder eine der oben beschriebenen Bedingungen.
Wenn Sie bezüglich des Zustands oder der Zuverlässigkeit Ihrer Ausrüstung im Zweifel sind, verwenden Sie diese nicht weiter. Zerstören Sie aus dem Verkehr gezogene und beschädigte Ausrüstungsgegenstände, um eine weitere Verwendung zu verhindern.

Cuando haya que lavar los productos, se deberá hacer a mano con agua tibia y sin detergente ni ninguna otra sustancia química. Inspección y vida útil

Además de la inspección antes y después de cada uso, Trango recomienda una inspección exhaustiva del producto y demás equipación de escalada y montañismo del usuario por parte de una persona cualificada y compe-tente al menos una vez cada seis meses.
Con un uso habitual y los cuidados apropiados, la vida útil normal de este producto es aproximadamente de dos a cinco años. La vida útil máxima de este producto es de 10 años. La vida útil real variará en función de la frecuencia y el tipo de uso. El producto deberá ser retirado inmedi-atamente en caso de un evento extremo, como puede ser una caída o carga graves o la exposición a agentes tóxicos, entornos severos o extremos o cualquier otra condición de las descritas anteriormente.
Si tiene dudas acerca del estado o fiabilidad del equipo, retírelo. Destruya el equipo retirado y dañado para evitar usos posteriores.
Compatibilidad con otros equipos

Ce produit est conçu pour être utilisé avec deux mous-quetons afin de se connecter au point d’assurage et aux ancres pendant l’escalade et l’alpinisme. Ne pas utiliser le produit à toute autre fin. Ce produit est un produit statique et contrairement à une corde d’escalade dynamique, il ne s’étire pas ou n’absorbe pas d’énergie en cas de chute ou en cas d’une charge de choc sur le produit. Ne pas charger le produit jusqu’à ou au-delà de sa résistance nominale ou il cèdera. Éviter le contact avec des bords tranchants et/ou des surfaces abrasives. Poser le produit sur un bord tranchant ou une surface abrasive réduira considérable-ment sa force et entraînera probablement une défaillance de celui-ci.
Les conditions humides et glacées réduiront la force du produit et le rendront plus difficile à manipuler. Ne PAS faire de nœuds dans les harnais cousus. Des nœuds, des coudes ou des attelages dans un harnais cousu réduiront la résistance du produit de façon significative et augmenteront la probabilité de défaillance. Rangement et entretien
Toujours ranger le produit dans un endroit sec à l’abri des intempéries. Toujours éviter l’exposition aux rayons ultraviolets (UV), à la chaleur, aux objets tranchants, aux animaux, aux agents toxiques (y compris, mais sans s’y limiter : les produits chimiques, les acides, les solvants, l’essence, les batteries, l’antigel, les produits caustiques et les matériaux semblables), et toute autre condition, tout autre matériau et/ou agent qui pourrait endommager le produit.
Les produits qui ont besoin de nettoyage doivent être lavés à la main à l’eau tiède sans détergents ou autres produits chimiques. Laisser le produit sécher à l’air dans un espace ouvert, en évitant les rayons directs du soleil. Ne PAS altérer ou modifier ce produit. Toute modification ou réparation de ce produit peut entraîner des blessures graves ou la mort.
Inspection et durée de vie
Avant et après chaque utilisation, vérifiez toujours le produit pour s’assurer qu’il est en bon état. Vérifiez qu’il n’y ait pas de changements dans l’apparence du produit, y compris, mais sans s’y limiter : des coupures ou des déchirures, des preuves d’usure, des dommages à la couture, de l’effilochage, des dommages causés par la chaleur ou le contact avec des agents toxiques, des preuves de brûlures, fusion ou une décoloration, et toutes autres indications de dommage ou d’usure. Non utilizzare fettucce cucite e/o dogbone (chiamate d’ora in poi collettivamente “fettucce cucite” e/o il “prodotto”) se non sono state perfettamente comprese avvertenze e istruzioni, e se non si accettano tutti i rischi reali e potenziali associati. Prima dell’utilizzo di questo prodotto, è necessario avere ricevuto la formazione adeguata. Trango raccomanda vivamente a tutti gli utenti di ricevere istruzioni qualificate e competenti prima di utilizzare questo prodotto.
Questo prodotto è progettato per essere utilizzato con due moschettoni come collegamento alla protezione di arrampicata e al punto di ancoraggio in arrampicata e alpinismo. Non utilizzare questo prodotto per altri scopi. Questo prodotto è un prodotto statico, e al contrario di una corda dinamica da arrampicata non si allunga né assorbe l’energia in caso di caduta o di urto con carico sul prodotto. Non caricare il prodotto oltre alla forza indicata per evitare cedimenti. Evitare il contatto con superfici affilate e/o abrasive. Se il prodotto viene premuto contro una superficie affilata o abrasiva, la sua forza verrà note-volmente ridotta, rendendo probabile il malfunzionamento del prodotto.
In condizioni di umidità e ghiaccio, la forza del prodotto verrà ridotta e sarà più difficile utilizzare il prodotto stes-so. NON praticare nodi sulle fettucce cucite. Conservazione e cura
Conservare sempre il prodotto in un luogo asciutto, al riparo dagli agenti atmosferici. Evitare sempre l’esposizione a raggi ultravioletti (UV), calore, oggetti affilati, animali, agenti tossici (che comprendono, senza limitazione alcuna: sostanze chimiche, solventi, benzina, batterie, antigelo, materiali corrosivi e simili), e qualsiasi altra condizione, materiale e/o agenti potenzialmente dan-nosi per il prodotto.
I prodotti che necessitano di pulizia devono essere lavati a mano in acqua tiepida, senza l’utilizzo di detergenti o altre sostanze chimiche. Far asciugare il prodotto all’aria in una zona aperta, evitando la luce del sole diretta. NON cercare di modificare o riparare questo prodotto. La modifica o la riparazione di questo prodotto possono causare lesioni gravi o mortali.
Ispezione e ciclo di vita
Prima e dopo ciascun utilizzo, ispezionare sempre il prodotto per accertarsi che sia in condizioni adatte all’uso. Verificare eventuali cambiamenti nell’aspetto del prodotto, compresi, senza limitazione alcuna: tagli o strappi, tracce di usura, danni alle cuciture, sfilacciamento, danni causati dal calore o dal contatto con agenti tossici, tracce di bruciatura, fusione o scolorimento, e qualsiasi altra indi-cazione di danno o usura. Scartare i prodotti che mostrano segni di danno o usura. Si noti che il danno causato da agenti tossici potrebbe non essere visibile. Scartare i prodotti che si sa o si sospetta essere stati a contatto con tali agenti tossici. Con un utilizzo regolare e la cura adeguata, il normale ciclo di vita di questo prodotto varia dai due ai cinque anni. Il massimo ciclo di vita di questo prodotto è pari a 10 anni. Il ciclo di vita reale varierà a seconda della frequenza e del tipo di utilizzo. Il prodotto deve essere scartato immediata-mente a seguito di un singolo evento estremo, come una caduta o un urto grave, e/o l’esposizione ad agenti tossici, ambienti difficili e/o estremi, e/o una qualsiasi delle con-dizioni sopra descritte.
Se ci sono dubbi sulle condizioni o l’affidabilità dell’attrezzatura, scartarla. Distruggere l’attrezzatura scartata e danneggiata per evitare che sia nuovamente utilizzata.
Compatibilità con altre attrezzature
