The premier world venue for measurement technologyThe objective of the conference is to maintain its position as the premier world venue for presentations and discussions of measurement technology related to the oil and gas industry. The workshop’s main focus is on the practical application of this technology.

As in recent years the number of high quality abstracts has been exceptional. The technical committee is confident that the final program contains topics relevant for all working with flow measurement of oil and gas. All presentations and posters are support-ed by a written paper.

Addressing challenges and latest developmentsMultiphase metering has played an important role in marginal field development. In this year’s workshop program you will find both presentations and posters covering the latest development and field experience within multiphase metering.

Ultrasonic meters are the primary choice for many North Sea operators when designing a fiscal gas metering station. The program will have an entire session dedicated to ultrasonic gas flow meters.

Metering engineers also face challenges related to e.g. allocation, standards, cost/benefit, meter diagnostics and wet gas metering. Presentations will be held to address these subjects as well.

The poster session covers the same topics as the different oral sessions and offers a unique possibility to discuss the topics with the presenters.

Main topics of the program Multiphase Oil Gas Wet Gas Standards Allocation Well Monitoring

Manufacturers’ exhibitionMany manufacturers and service companies presents their products at stands during the workshop. Hence the workshop provides an excellent opportunity to get in touch with different suppliers of metering equipment and measurement solutions.

Networking opportunitiesThe format of the workshop is as always informal and encourages discussions. This creates an ideal environment for informal dialogue with your business connections and a great opportunity to make new ones. At the workshop you will find key personnel from regulators, operators, manufacturers, research institutions and engineering companies.

Take this unique opportunity to get updated on state of the art technology within oil and gas measurement.

I’m looking forward to meet you in Norway in October 2015.

Yours sincerely,

Eivind L. Soldal

Statoil and Norwegian Society for Oil and Gas Measurement

Chairman of NSFMW 2015

On behalf of the Technical Committee it is my pleasure to welcome you to the 33rd International North Sea Flow Measurement Workshop.
