Thank you and farewell!

Then, the rumors

• Effective January 1, 2011, municipalities will no longer be able to burn the clean component of C&D

• You will still be able to burn brush and yard waste

• Anything else, no.

•Municipalities will be able to burn the clean component of C&D incidental to the use of a burn pile, at least until Jan 1, 2014

Page 10: Northeast Resource Recovery Association RECYCLING CONSOLIDATION PROGRAM Informational Meeting

Burning Reality

• You have never been able to burn painted, treated, plastic coated wood.

• You have never been able to burn wood with glues in them. This includes plywood, flakeboard, masonite, laminated lumber, etc

• You still need a permit.

Testimonials Peg, Northfield…. “NRRA’s Pilot program was introduced to us in Dec.’08 when the bottom dropped out of the recycle markets...to find alternatives to our rising transportation costs and declining revenues from our recycling programs, we joined this program and have been in ever since. We keep our transportation costs down while still generating revenue from our recyclables”

Justin, Gilmanton….“having the convenience of moving multiple commodities.. getting cleaned out & rid of everything at once”
